Wonderful coffee maker. Makes a pot of HOT delicious aromatic coffee FAST!Controls are simple, settings are thoughtful like 3- temperature settings for the warming pad. I like the soft GREEN indicator lights, (not fond of any red light appliance in kitchen), it has a charcoal water filter option, and of course a time setting for automatic brew. Good purchase !

It makes good coffee. I especially like that it has a “bold” brew option, though that was not the deciding factor. The timer is nice and I like waking up to the aroma of fresh coffee. 12 cup capacity is good because leftover coffee goes into the fridge for iced coffee. The off timer is a good feature too. Overall, the coffee tastes pretty smooth probably due to the water filter. I use filtered water anyway. Key thing to note is it took five passes of water only to “break it in.” The first pass I could smell the plastic in the air. Then I made a small pot of coffee and could still taste plastic. Fortunately, after five passes the plastic smell and taste was gone.

Hello, we purchased this coffee maker in July 2024 and had continuous problems for the last 4 months. The issue we experienced involved cleaning the machine, being forced to clean the machine, the cleaning button coming on without prompting and constant delays in actually making coffee. The machine continually went into cleaning mode by itself while we awaited coffee. We were forced to clean this machine over five times in 4 months of very little usage.We contacted customer support once by phone and a gentleman at Braun helped us reset the clean button, however the problem continued and when we attempted to contact Braun again, we reached Ronnie at Braun customer support for a refund by email. We received only a generic cleaning response and he did not address any of our concerns regarding a solution, just acted like it never happened. This type of unaccountability is what is causing us to respond now on Amazon and leaves no room to continue to work with this company moving forward.This machine seems to be the overall pick at Amazon, however, in our experience, this coffeemaker was the most troublesome coffee maker we ever had in over five decades, often leaving us with hot, cleaning water instead of coffee. Most importantly, we had no recourse for refund, replacement or return and we have been essentially ignored regarding any request for a solution.In closing, over $109.00 was spent for a coffee maker that has not worked properly since purchase and only used for four months and instead of showing us the courtesy of any solution, Ronnie at Braun acted like our complaint never happened in his email response. We have tossed this coffee maker in the garbage due to it being more hassle than it is worth and purchased a new coffeemaker from a company that will actually stand behind their products. Respectfully, stay away from Braun until they hire new leadership. Thanks, Eric

Surprised for sure
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that this device makes coffee! I thought for sure it would have been the opposite. Before that I tried to get it making all sorts of things: motor oil, toothpaste, liquid gold, perfumes. Not one thing but coffee has come out. I’ll take that as a win

This is a great coffee machine. It does everything you would want from a new coffee machine. It has several settings to make everyday coffee making much easier.I like that I can set an auto timer for coffee making in the morning. Nothing better than waking up to the smell of fresh coffee. This coffee maker has a full heating pad that does not shut off after 15 minutes, you can set a timer for this too so no worries about leaving the hot plate on too long.The included filter works very well, usually these allow little bits to fall through but not this one. This product is super easy to clean, easy to refill and easy to set timers. I suggest watching a youtube video as the manual is boring.If I had one bad thing to say about this coffee machine, it would be that the glass coffee jug breaks easily. I broke mine the second day when throwing it in the dishwasher, my fault, I sometimes dont know my own strength.Overall great coffee machine especially for the price.

I purchased the newer KF7370SI touch-screen model to replace my this coffee maker. I’d had the original one for about 2 years until it *checks notes* became FILLED WITH ANTS.I loved the older version and figured what the hey, ants, I’ll upgrade to the fancy newer touch screen model. The buttons on my old model were always a little off-kilter, so I wrongly assumed that the sleek new touch version would have identical functionality without the one tiny thing that bugged me about the older one. I should have paid more attention to the options on the screen. The construction is otherwise identical.The new version, while sleek, lacks a couple of features that turned out to be more important than I realized: the Auto-Off setting and the Temperature setting.The Auto-Off has been replaced with these 3 stupid bean icons indicating the freshness of your brew. Whatever, that’s fine, though apparently the freshness decreased so rapidly I never really see that second bean. Also, I know when I made the coffee; I’ll drink it if it’s “not fresh” so these icons don’t exactly do much for me. I’m not Tim Horton’s with a 20-minute death clock on my coffee. I’d rather have a hot older pot of coffee longer then a vague indication of freshness.My bigger issue, and the reason I’ve returned that model for a (ideally, hopefully, oh god please…) ant-free replacement of the older model, is the temperature setting. The touch-screen model one is not hot enough. It’s perfectly fine when you pour your initial cup, but since it’s not QUITE hot enough, the cup of coffee is lukewarm too quickly and as we all know, lukewarm coffee should only be reserved for house guests that you want to get rid of. The temperature setting on this machine is integral.I returned the KF7370SI and re-purchased another one of these.My final note, and this is for both the older and newer version of this unit – while cleaning it, I once accidentally bashed the carafe against my granite countertop. My countertop chipped, the carafe was unharmed. I honestly wish I could replace my countertop with German-made coffee carafes now.
