    Great printer.
Bought the cord to hook it up to my laptop. No wifi. I connect the cord and print immediately, no fuss.

Spend More – Get Something Better
Update: I got a cable to connect directly to my computer to print. That worked fine for awhile. And then even that quit working. When that quit working, it finally started working on my phone. But none of that matters now, because I can not get this thing to feed paper anymore. It just won’t pick it up. If I try to nudge the paper to help it a little, it will pick it up but then it jams. Do NOT buy this printer. The bad reviews are correct. I should have listened to them. I know this printer doesn’t cost very much. But getting a cheaper printer should just mean it doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles. It shouldn’t mean you’re only going to be able to use it lightly at most 20 times and then it won’t work anymore. I have barely used this printer. I just needed it to occasionally be able to print a couple things. Canon needs to get this printer off the market and re-evaluate the quality of their products. I changed my review to 1 star.Original Post: Worked ok at first. Printer is loud and sounds like it’s going to fall apart when printing, but I didn’t mind as long as it printed what I needed. Now…I’m outside of the return timeframe and it has quit connecting wirelessly. I’ve tried on my cell phone and connecting it to my computer. Nothing. It has worked once in the past few days. Guess I’m stuck now with something I only got to use 5 or 6 times. Awesome. Gave this two stars only because when it did work, the print quality was good.

    Great printer, great price
This is a very basic but great value, reliable printer. My 10-year-old Canon MX512 just killed over and needed something reliable but inexpensive for occasional text printing and scanning. I rarely print pictures and can’t speak about that. Having a few ink cartridges left over from my old MX512, I searched for a printer that would use the same ink and found the PIXMA MG3620. The print quality is good, the printing time is good, and the noise level is okay. For a budget printer is quite good and I’m very happy with it. I also like the fact that after a couple of hours or so, left unused it turns itself off which is great. If you don’t wanna spend lots of money and don’t need very high-quality printing, don’t look any further, this printer will do the job!

    CANON PRINTER 3620 – WHITE
It’s a nice looking printer. Very sturdy and well built. Setting it up was normal. YouTube has some tutorials and l followed the steps without an issue. The problem is two days later when l wanted to print something, the printer was not responding. This printer did not include the cable that connects the printer directly onto the computer. I once again asked Google why my wireless printer was not responding. Someone mentioned that if you connect your printer to the computer you should solve this issue. I had an old Canon cable that connects to the computer and proceeded to connect it and lo and behold, it started printing with no issue. So be sure to have that cable handy.

I am very happy with this printer
I bought the Canon MG3620 printer because it’s inexpensive and has the features I need. Consumer Reports calls this model a Best Buy, with a rating of “excellent” for both convenience and scan quality and an overall rating of “very good.”In my home office I have the printer connected by a USB cable to my desktop computer, so I’ve avoided problems with Wi-Fi described by some reviewers. The printer is compact enough to fit in the space available on the desk. The white color is attractive. So far, everything is working just as it should – no problems at all. I am very happy with this printer. Many reviewers on Amazon give the printer only one star. This worried me until I realized that there are similar one-star reviews for comparable printers of all other makes, not just Canon. Just look and you’ll see. On the New York Times thewirecutter.com website, the page about all-in-one printers states “All printers are disappointing, particularly color all-in-ones . . . No printer is free of rough edges, whether they come in the form of paper jams, software glitches, clogged printheads, or flaky Wi-Fi.”One of the complaints I’ve seen is that paper sheets slide off the top tray after going through the printer. I don’t think this is a problem if the directions are followed: pull out the extension on the top tray; on the bottom tray that holds the unprinted paper, swivel out the extension and lift up the flap at the end of this extension. As for complaints about the high cost of ink cartridges, this is how Canon (as well as other manufacturers) makes up for the low cost of the printer. I have no problem with this. If, in time, my printer fails I’ll just replace it with another – at $44 it’s a steal!

    Works
So far so good. I got my printer yesterday and set it up and this set up was fairly easy. Of course you do have a step-by-step manual inside the printer box when you receive your printer. I did have to take about 30mins to set it up, just turning it on putting in the ink connecting it to WiFi. Some of it was confusing but this is also only the second printer I’ve ever had. I feel like with time you’d know how to connect all computers in your house to it very easily. It comes with two ink cartridges, a color, and a black ink. It does not come with paper, so do make sure you get paper. I got this for homeschool and some of my Bible Study leadership class that I need to print out. It does print front to back, which is very nice and saves a lot of paper. It starts from the last page of your printing and goes all the way to the first page, which is also nice. So far the ink works really good. It had me do a test photo so I found one that had lots of color and I think it came out pretty good for being on printer paper and not photo paper. Again I just got this yesterday so I’ll try to remember to update how it’s going in a few weeks.
