Bright solid lighting
What can I say, this stuff is great! I have done a little bit of LED lighting in the past and while it is a cool somewhat newer lighting tech for the most part, it has visual limitations, such as noticeable spots. Often times that meant for indirect lighting where you didn’t see the strip worked best. You couldn’t really look LED the strips without noticing the individual lights. Sometimes people used diffusers to help with this issue.That’s where this is so much different. I’m not sure exactly how they’ve pulled this off because I’m pretty sure they’re still individual LEDs in there, but it looks basically like one solid line of light which can be really nice at distributing a more even spread of light and even placing it in locations where you can see it directly.My first use of these strips was to put lighting in my tool trailer. I needed something low profile, low power consumption, easy to install and fairly bright. This stuff did the trick and I can’t tell you how excited I am to use my tool trailer with a reasonable amount of working light. For separated sections of this strip light I used COB LED strip to wire connectors also found here on Amazon. They basically just pressure crimp onto the LED strip and to a small gauge wire for easy wiring set up.As of the time of my purchase, I don’t think anyone mentioned what kind of connector is on the end of the start of the spool. I recently bought an EcoFlow, Delta two smart battery for my tool trailer to run some small accessory lighting such as this, and some battery charging for tools. That came with a cable for DC connections, which has a DC5525 to DC5521 cable. I was able to plug one end in to the EcoFlow and the other in to the start of the strip light. So for reference it looks like this lighting strip will plug directly into a DC5521 cable.Overall, I feel pretty confident I will be purchasing more of this lighting to use in other lighting applications, potentially in my RV as well.

Very impressed they look like a solid strip of light.
As an electrician, I install a lot of under-counter lights for clients. These are affordable, which allows me to mark them up a lot, very easy to install, and they look fantastic. I even put them in my work trailer as work lights, and they really put out the light. Over the past couple of years, I have probably installed 75 sets of these with no warranty call backs. The only callbacks I get are for customers who want more of them. They look great as toe kick lights too. I also keep five packs of these on the truck, because I know I will sell them.

I really like this product.
This is a great product. I installed one roll of this in my gun safe and another roll in a 19″ equipment rack that I use for our homes network and entertainment system. Both cabinets had been frustratingly dark for years.I’d used the SMD strips before and while they were a good product too, in my opinion the COB blows them away. They are more flexible, making them easier to work with and install, and if it’s where it can be seen it looks better. I’d always bought housings for the SMD’s, to both even out the light and so they looked better if seen, but I didn’t feel the need with these. The light seems more uniform with these. The IDC connectors that they show to use with the product are easy to use and very reliable.Why 4 stars instead of 5? I reel came with a connector on one en and wires attached on the other as stated in the information. The other one didn’t. It looked like an open package was sent as new. That really wasn’t an issue for me, but I don’t like it when the product isn’t exactly as described.I will however buy this again. All of our kitchen cabinets are about to be lit inside.

One good strip, one bad strip
I ordered a 2-pack. One LED strip works great, but the other was dead on arrival. The one that lights up provides very good light. I was able to cut the strips into segments to fit my configuration and connect the segments with Pautix 8mm connectors to go cleanly around square corners. One other lesser issue — on one of the strips, the adhesive stuck to the protective cover strip when it was removed and left only half of the LED strip with adhesive.

Great lighting for a shower niche!
I purchased these LED lights for a bathroom remodel. This is my first lighted niche and I think these lights will be my go to from here on out. They are not IP waterproof rated but I used Lexel crystal clear sealant to encase the lighting to where they are waterproof. They are also recessed up in a schluter deco SG rail so it would be extremely difficult for water to travel in the shelf and up vertically to reach the lighting. These were easy to trim to length with scissors and to solder to the wiring. They provide a nice lighting that can be adjusted if you have a dimmer switch and a transformer that is dimmable.
