This Cuisinart Air Fryer, toaster over, with grill is amazing. It absolutely works great. We purchased this after finding out that some of the ones with plastic were putting toxic fumes into our food. It was easy to use and set up. We dont need the giant toaster that we had because we can do it in this. It is easier to use and clean up than our previous product. French fries and wings are one of our favorite things to cook. They are easy after a hard day. That is what this machine does for us. It makes life easier and has great capacity perfect for our needs. The space saving alone is a gem.

After 2 days with this I am over the moon happy. It has analog controls…none of the confusing press here-then here-then over here. Quite simply turn a knob and it works. The air fryer is surprisingly quiet….but works as advertised. Comes with lots of options…basket, tray, oven rack, and two sided grill pan. I have not tried all the options…but it remains cool on the outside…the top gets a bit hot…but will not burn if you accidentally touch it. It will take a bit of time to get used to how quickly it cooks…just keep an eye on your food. You want a negative? The interior light does not stay on when you open the door. Kind of goofy…but you get used to it.

Originally this was a 5* review. This is an update after about 14 months of use.Pros:Overall, it’s a wonderful appliance. Nothing I cooked came out poorly. I used it for lots of things. I got mine at a very reasonable price. A vast improvement over other methods of cooking. With one exception, I’ve been very happy with it. I liked the dials, the SS, even its presence on my kitchen counter. It did everything it was supposed to do, and did it well. It wasn’t hard to learn and understand the settings.So why have I dropped a star and switched to another brand? Well…Con:It’s a pain in the you-know-what to clean. It vaporizes any oil and spreads it throughout the interior which has lots of nooks and crannies. Since I cooked a lot of chicken in mine with the skin on, that meant cleaning it constantly. You aren’t supposed to use a scrubby and they just recommend a light soapy water. After awhile, the joy of using it became more of a chore.I’ve since switched to another highly rated brand where what’s cooked is in tempered glass, which can be put in the dishwasher or hand-washed, a much easier process.Your mileage may certainly vary. You may not cook the same things I do.I would give this 4 1/2 stars because it really does everything well. But it’s too much like cleaning your microwave or regular oven every time you use it. It’s not like cleaning a pot or a pan.

I’m not disappointed that I bought this.
I haven’t had it long enough to thoroughly test all the functions or say anything about durability or longevity but so far I’m very impressed. I’ve used it most often as a toaster and at that it’s hands down the best toaster I’ve ever owned. The oven and air fryer functions also work quite well though… I kind of wish that setting precise time and temperature was easier, maybe more gradations on the control panel? It would also be nice if if there was a light that went off when it reaches temperature.It’s not a lot larger, other than height, than the 6-slice toaster oven it replaced which is very nice in my tiny little kitchen. Lastly, it looks and feels very well put together, just like my Cuisinart Crock-Pot and coffee maker.

This is the greatest oven ever, we use it every day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It makes the best Air Fry wings and dinners easy and quick. I would recommend it to everyone a great product by a great company!

Perfect addition to my kitchen
I love my air fryer toaster oven. I bought it after my Black & Decker oven door shattered, leaving me without a toaster oven, and I’m really happy with this purchase. The grill setting is solid. I can make BBQ easily and the air fryer cooks impressively fast; my potatoes come out perfectly in a fraction of the time my old oven needed. The cooking power is strong, and it handles everything I throw in it with ease.I also appreciate the lightbulb I can turn on and the bake setting with a fan, which makes it function like a mini oven without heating up my whole kitchen. The capacity is generous, and it heats up quickly, so I don’t have to wait long to preheat. It doesn’t alter the taste of my food, and I barely need to use any oil when air frying. So far, I haven’t found any issues it’s a fantastic, versatile addition to my kitchen.

Best thing I have ever done for myself. NO more bending to open the oven door, because it is now counter height, easy to clean, food is good cooking/tasting with either the Grill; Bake; Air fry… I have tried them all, and I can’t say that I have a favorite, because my dinner/lunch/breakfast tastes are different and change all the time…and are suited to ME!The toast feature, is iffy, with different types of bread. I find a little experimenting is the choice I would suggest, if unsure? Makes a mean NAAN bread Pizza- mmm- the cheese melting on top, chef’s kiss 🙂 Thanks. And it is VERY powerful. 1800w…is a bit much and I am nervous that I will blow all the fuses in my condo Building….not too worry though it’s all good~ and this appliance does not get overly hot. Easy to move, clean, looks okay on the counter..you will need to purchase your own, to compare. Thanks

This Cuisinart actifryer seems to be well made, sturdy and of good materials . It has a very well laid out , easy to read, informative instruction manual. It was well boxed and padded securely for shipping. It comes with an oven rack, baking pan, actifryer basket and grill plate. It has an indicator light and a safety feature that temporarily stops heating when the door is opened. All the cooking plates and racks are very sturdy, well made and seem of good materials. I am impressed that it has a rubber (?) seal that runs along the inside of the bottom of the door that I presume stops any heat from escaping while in operation. All the racks and plates fit securely and easily into their respective slots. It does not slip around on the counter. It certainly seems very solid in its construction. So far, I have only used the bake feature to cook a frozen cabbage roll dish and it came out perfectly. It has 8 cooking features which I am looking forward to using and I am confident that they will perform well. My only criticism is that the function dial lettering is extremely close together and, for me, I find it a little confusing as to which cooking feature I have actually selected, but once I have used this actifryer more frequently, it will be more familiar to me. In six years, I have purchased two other different brands of actifryers which between them only lasted 6 years. I hope it lasts longer than the 2 other brands. I decided on this Cuisinart brand because I have a Cuisinart indoor grill that has performed perfectly for over 4 years and is still working well. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase. 5 stars.
