The dual function works well. It’s probably because it’s new, but it leaves a metallic taste on the food every once in a while – improves with preheating.

Nice dual air fryer
The Cuisinart Dual Basket Air Fryer has been a nice upgrade for my kitchen. The two baskets are super handy—I can cook tots or fries in one and nuggets/tendies in the other, and the Sync Finish feature actually makes everything done at the same time. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, and the toss reminder is surprisingly useful (I forget every time without it). The auto-pause and warm mode make it really easy to multitask without overcooking anything. Overall, it’s convenient, roomy, and has quickly become my go-to for a quick meal.

Nice- exactly what we were looking for. Cooks evenly. The only downfall but not a del breaker is if you are cooking on both sides and pull out the basket on one side- the other side pauses. Smooth sides have to be in to run.

Excellent Dual Chamber air fryer
This replaced a single-chamber air fryer. Each drawer has the capacity of the unit we replaced, which, with a family of 5, helps immensely. Food is cooked very well, and once past the learning curve on the controls, it is easy to use.

Found this on sale the same day mine quit. This was one of the greatest things I have ever purchased for my kitchen. The baskets are very easy to clean and it is very quiet. It is large so it takes up some counter space but its worth it to me.

great cooking, slightly confusing controls
So this air fryer cooks great! I love that part. Everything I have made in it so far has turned out awesome. Super crisp fries, great reheated pizza and crab rangoons, chicken nuggets, pizza rolls, roast potatoes. I like that there are two baskets so I can make two different things at the same time or just more of one thing haha. It is not super loud I would say comparable to my microwave and ninja foodi toaster oven. It is a pretty big cube and takes up some considerable counterspace so be aware of that. Its easy to clean with the removable bottom plates/grates. And the nonstick is very nonstick.What I don’t love are the controls. Even after reading the manual I still am left a little confused and seem to mess things up mid cooking often. Its not as intuitive, at least not for me, as I would expect. The part that gets me the most is the “toss reminder” setting. Because the heat comes from one side, not all around you need to toss or flip things part way through. Not a big deal, plus I like to open it up and check on things part way through. The problem is when you open it up when it starts dinging at you for the “toss reminder” or anytime while “toss reminder” is enabled it completely clears all your settings and you basically have to start over which is very annoying. You would think you could pull out the basket look inside or give it a toss and push it back in and have the thing start right back up where it left off, especially since the thing is telling you that you need to toss your stuff, but no that is not the case. I still have not quite figured out how to get that to work during “toss reminder”. I probably need to read the manual again. But it will allow you to do this if you deselect toss reminder at the beginning when you are setting up your cooking.Overall I am happy with this air fryer. The finicky and not super user friendly controls are my only reason for removing a star.
