Easy to install and operate
I got this a few months ago but didn’t install it until recently because i thought it would be complicated. To my surprise all i needed was a screw driver. It took me maybe 30 minutes to do…. only because i read each step like 5 times , 😆The hole this requires was the save size as the hole i already had so it was very straight forward to change. Just don’t forget the conect the pin connector before you screw the 2 sides together or the buttons won’t work.I was worried replacing the batteries would be difficult but the batteries are accessible via removable face plate. The unit with start beeping when the batteries get low.The codes are regramable and it can store 99 codes… although im not sure who would ever need that many!I have one digital knob on my house that autolocks and theres no way to disable it so i really like that you can turn auto lock off on or set a delayed lock. This also does comes with 2 traditional keys if some prefer thatMy only complaint is i do wish it had an app for remote access, but its not a deal breaker.

Solid smart door knob with reliable keypad entry
Setup is simple and the keypad works as expected, storing multiple user codes. The backlit numbers are easy to see at night, and the auto-lock adds convenience. Build feels sturdy with its zinc alloy body. A few reviewers noted battery life could be better, but overall reliability is strong.

A tad outdated
This is offered at a reasonable price, but I was unable to get it installed on my door. It required more than just swapping out the old knob, my door’s existing setup didn’t match the sizes, and some modifications would have been needed, so I ended up not using it. In theory, it looked like a nice product, but I also wasn’t impressed with the construction. I was surprised that it uses standard batteries rather than a built in rechargeable option. Having to replace batteries feels outdated, especially for a modern digital lock, and there isn’t an easy way to recharge it from the inside (a removable rechargeable pack on the inside part of the door would have sufficed. Anyway, it seemed promising in concept, but the installation issues and battery design make it less practical. As far as the functionality of this product, and how quickly it operates, I wouldn’t have a ton of insight on that, as this product just didn’t work for me.

Reliable, Secure, and Surprisingly Sleek – Perfect for Home or Office
This digital door knob hits the sweet spot between security, convenience, and ease of installation. I originally bought this for my apartment’s front door, but I’ve since added one to my office because it just works—no fuss, no gimmicks.🔑 Ease of Installation – 9/10If you’ve ever changed a standard door knob, you can install this. The instructions were clear, with diagrams that made sense, and all the parts were well-labeled. It took me about 20 minutes start to finish, with just a Phillips screwdriver. I appreciated that it fit the existing door hole with no drilling required.🧠 Programming User Codes – 10/10This is where the product really shines. You can create up to 99 unique access codes, which was perfect for our needs. I set one for myself, one for the kids, and temporary ones for the dog walker and cleaning crew. You can add and delete them easily—no app needed, just a few button presses. The backlit keypad makes it simple to use even in dim lighting.🏢 Build Quality – 8.5/10The zinc alloy housing has a solid, weighted feel to it—not flimsy or plasticky like some budget options. It doesn’t rattle or wiggle when you turn the knob. I wouldn’t say it’s designed for maximum burglary resistance like a deadbolt, but for apartments, bedrooms, offices, or even interior doors where you want extra control, it feels very secure.🌙 Auto-Lock and Passage Mode – 9/10Auto-lock is optional and adjustable, which is great for people like me who often forget to lock the door behind them. I’ve set mine to lock after 30 seconds. The Passage Mode feature lets you temporarily disable the auto-lock, perfect when you’re hosting guests or moving things in and out.🔋 Battery Life – TBD, but promisingIt runs on four AA batteries (not included), and while I haven’t had to replace them yet, it does offer a low battery indicator and a USB backup option in case of emergency. I tested the external power backup and it worked exactly as described, so no worries about being locked out.📍 Ideal Use CasesApartmentsHome officesShared rooms (e.g., roommates)Airbnb doorsStorage closets or basement access🚫 A Few Minor QuirksIt doesn’t integrate with smart home systems—no app, no Wi-Fi. That’s a plus for people avoiding tech overreach, but a limitation if you want remote access. The beeps when pressing buttons are a bit loud. Not unbearable, but worth noting. The design is modern but slightly bulkier than a regular knob, so double-check door clearance if you’re tight on space.✅ VerdictThis digital door knob is an excellent mid-range option for anyone who wants the security and convenience of keyless entry without the complexity of a full smart lock system. It offers the right balance of durability, flexibility, and ease-of-use, and I’d happily recommend it for home, office, or apartment doors.

Can’t install – Crucial parts missing
Too bad I have to even rate it with one star. When I received this electronic touchscreen door lock, it was obvious it had already been returned—loose screws rattling around and components tossed in carelessly, not even seated in the packaging.I’m not usually bothered by receiving previously returned items if all the parts are intact. But in this case, it was missing several crucial components: the latch, fixed pad, battery cover, fixed bolt, and sponge. Without these, installation is impossible.I’ll be returning it and sincerely hope this incomplete mess doesn’t get passed on to someone else. Disappointed doesn’t begin to cover it.

Excellent knob
Build quality is decent, it is what i would expect from a big box store in quality and features. The ease of installation wasn’t bad and the instructions i found to be better than some but could be difficult if you wernt familiar with installing knobs. Length was good for my door and the features are excellent. The value for the money is good as smart locks get expensive quick and some don’t offer the functionality this one offers. The keypad function is great
