Inexpensive, simple to use items that are LOUD and DETER
These are great. I’ve lived in my house for over 16 years now and have an outdated wired alarm system that is not monitored, it still works nonetheless but the alarm is not all that loud and it only has a handful of sensors.I was considering replacing it or adding on with an all out wireless system – many seemed impressive, but then I ran across this product and remember seeing this, or a very similar model, go off at a relative’s house when the backdoor was opened and we didn’t know it was there. It was LOUD. That helped pushed me to giving these a go.I’ve kept the existing wired alarm but these are perfect add-ons for extra and more recent security. I ordered 10, I’ll order a few more to get them on all my windows on both stories as well as all of my entrance doors downstairs (will be 12 in total).Getting into the habit of making sure the settings are right and set – I have two cats that do cat stuff and roam in my house and can get startled, during the daytime when I’m at work or away for a long time or if somebody has to get into my house in an emergency, I set the doors to chime instead of alarm. At night before bedtime I put the doors to alarm. If I’m home for extended times I turn them off on my doors as needed.I’m gradually improving security of my house with a combination of wired alarm, these sensors that you don’t need wires or a wireless connection for, a wireless doorbell I recently installed and likely a few wireless outdoor cameras soon.Would definitely recommend these for whenever you might have a power outage or if WIFI is down, these should still be up if the batteries are good. Inexpensive as well.Update: 7/10/24An update on this – I had one sensor fall out of place after a difficult/stubborn install – I probably had it coming – installs can be tricky depending on the door or window framing and I couldn’t get one of the sensors to work as expected the first time without moving it around. I reinstalled a few of the sensors on my windows to be a bit more secure – I actually had extra 3M sticky tape of this exact model. For the few that I had to set up again, I put tape both on the rear and on one of the sides of the thin sensor parts to better secure them. If you feel like you’ll have install problems on these, buy some extra 3M 9448A tape – it is inexpensive. Still glad I purchased these!EDIT: Update in early August 2024 – I have a video of this now. These things will definitely get your attention if you aren’t aware – the sensors on my door I put to alarm when I go to bed, I have forgotten to switch them off opening the doors the following morning and my ears have paid the price hehe – in all seriousness that’s the point. These are great include as part of an overall security system at home or wherever needed.

Easy to install, works well, offers peace of mind
I bought this to put on the doors at my grandmother’s house because she has a pool. My toddler likes to spend time at her house and sometimes sleeps over. The alarm is SO loud and never fails to alert every time the door opens. It was so easy to install. It gives me such peace of mind to know that if he were to somehow open the door, she would be alerted immediately.

Great alarm
These are super loud in a good way. I live on a highway and I was scared my toddlers would get out of the house so I bought these. You can adjust the volume and they are plenty loud that id hear them in the middle of the night if a kid was trying to get out or an intruder coming in. Only complaint is they don’t stick well after about 4 days mine were popping off. Id recommend getting a stronger double sided tape

Excellent Alarms
These are great little alarms. They are easy to install especially with the supplied double-sided tape and they give you the option of having a chime go off when the window is opened or an alarm. The alarm also has two volume settings. It’s all controlled by slider switch on the side of the unit and a small volume button on the front. The package contained 10 alarms, enough for me to alarm all of my downstairs windows plus three doors. I did have to modify my door jambs slightly to make them work and because of the way my windows open I had to mount a few of the alarm units upside down but it didn’t matter. They all are working fine. The only problem I had was that one unit wasn’t working but that was because the supplied batteries for that unit were old and weak. Once I inserted new batteries it worked fine. I’d recommend these alarms.It’s now the end of March 2025 and I’ve had these alarms for over a year so I thought I’d share some more information. First of all they have all worked well until this month when I had one unit go bad. I test the alarms every once in a while by opening and closing the windows/doors and have had to replace some of the original batteries. That’s normal. However I did have one unit that wouldn’t work even with new batteries so after testing it against another good alarm I’ve concluded that it’s failed. So I just ordered a two-pack of the same alarm to replace the bad one and to have a spare on hand. I do recommend that you keep spare batteries on hand and you do test the alarms every so often because batteries do run down. I have noticed that some people had problems with the double-faced sticky tape used to attach the alarms but mine have remained in place with no problems. In fact I had to pry the defective unit off the door with a screwdriver because it was stuck on so well. Over all I’m still happy with these alarms and would recommend them.

Great concept! If Only They Fit My Windows ….
I found these when looking for something to alert us when one of the grandkids opened a window to crawl outside (4 grands under 10). We have perfectly operational doors, there is no need to crawl out a window.However after receiving these, I discovered they would not work with the type of windows we have 🙁. So they were returned – thus the 3 star review. I’m sure they are great for the homes where they fit the window like they are designed to. Just not my windows.

Works extremely well. You can secure to your windows/doors 2 ways: either with the 2 way tape or with the provided screws. You can set either a chime or siren style alarm both of which are very loud and there is also a lower volume sound too.

Bought these for extra protection on my windows. Was very happy with them and the buzz they made. However, even without leaving these units on continually, they were not left on continually and actually only four units were used overnight about four or five nights. Even with that little use, The batteries out of three of the four units died! I now have to buy a minimum of 16 batteries or take the batteries out of the few units I have left Unused. I am going to buy new batteries and see how they work. I will update this review and try to determine whether the units themselves burn the batteries out very quickly. So far unimpressed.
