I wanted to invest in a good monitor for my 2nd baby, since the V-Tech I purchased with my first baby really sucked. I was looking for 3 things – monitor, video camera with clamp (so I can move it around) and an app that connects so I can watch her even when I’m out and she’s with the babysitter. This does all of that. Monitor is big and easy to use, app works great, clamp stays put – and it was very easy to put together. Video quality could be better at night, but it still works great. Highly recommend!

This is a solid choice. I’ve tried so many.
So I’ve tried 24 brands of monitors and I’ve tried one other type from this brand. I would say this is the better pic of the Dr. Care line. The 5 1/2 inch screen is hard to beat because I’ve tried larger screens and I find them to be cumbersome at night and 5 1/2 seems to be the sweet spot. Now, if you look into the baby monitor market, not all market monitor is actually project an image that is true to the description. This one is truly 1080p. Night and day. With that said you also have a 2K option on your phone which I did test and it is truly 2K, which is hard to find because the baby monitor market is very riddled with false advertisements. This one is true to description. I tested it in my one story home with double drywall and what I found was I had sufficient connection from one side of the house to the other. My top floor is 1300 ft.². I also took it to my sisters who is a two-story farmhouse with regular drywall and she had full connection from top of the house to the bottom of the house so the connection is good. The night vision was very well detailed, and it wasn’t just a muddy picture. It tracked true to movement. Now the only con to this monitor is I found it to be rather quiet. I had it turned all the way up and I could barely hear my 3 year old which she is really quiet so it could just be not the right fit for her, but my sister is having no problem with her two-year-old who is not quiet at all. So use it your own discretion. The camera has a very wide angle lense. Which is very important to toddler parents that have twin or full-size beds. I can see my three-year-old’s full-size bed from halfway up the wall, which is very rare. Usually, I have to mount the camera at the very top of the wall, almost touching the ceiling to get the whole bed. That alone was a selling point for me. It also comes with a variety of nightlight, which is nice. The overall software on the camera worked well. I do find that the camera panning the room was a little slower than I like, but I felt like all the good features outweigh the con of the slow panning.

Works perfectly, easy setup, great features
This monitor works great right out of the box. Setup and configuration were easy, and I had it running quickly without any issues.The mic seems to only pick up sounds that are important, so you aren’t constantly checking the monitor for every little noise. This smart filtering is really helpful for reducing false alerts.The range is good throughout the house, and visibility in night cam mode is very clear. I can easily see what’s going on even in a dark room.Overall, this is an excellent baby monitor that does everything you need it to do.

This monitor is super nice. Very easy to set up. Picture quality is insanely good. I love the dark/light mode and how it automatically transitions. Camera offers two options to view – their viewer or you can use the app on the phone. I like this feature because it allows me to check a camera when I’m not home but whoever is home can also see what is going on. Just helps alleviate some worry. Camera has multiple options for mounting and includes all the hardware needed along with instructions that are easy to follow. Great camera for a great price makes this a stellar value.

Excellent Baby Monitor – Great Range – Super Clear Video and Audio – Absolutely Amazing Quality!
This Dr. Care 5″ video baby monitor is awesome! The video quality and the audio quality are fantastic and the range on the receiver unit is really good. We’re in about 3500 square feet, and the nursery is at the front corner of the house on the second floor. We can sit out on the back patio at night by the fire and still have perfectly clear video and audio. The battery life on the monitor/display unit is rock solid and lasts for hours and hours with the screen on standby. We haven’t used the WiFi function, just because I’m not comfortable broadcasting my kid across the internet. I suppose a nefarious actor could intercept the direct signal between the base and monitor, but it’s highly unlikely and way harder to accomplish.This is a really nice video monitor that works great and has great range!

Can use with wifi, or use paired without wifi
This is really a great camera/baby monitor. It is already paired, the camera to the display, and you can also connect it to wifi if you want to be able to view what’s on camera anytime, anywhere. We have this in use to show our front porch area, to monitor visitors and any packages that might arrive. Although we have security cameras, this is nice in that it doesn’t need the wifi (which sometimes does go down)- This is a great product that works immediately and without much effort on your part. Highly recommend.

Amazing camera
Excellent quality baby monitor with such clear sound and crisp visual. So many great features. This does everything you could want an a ton more. The price is amazing for all it does. Can be used way beyond baby or infant stage and could be used in their playroom or around the house for the entire life honestly. It’s an excellent t investment. The pan, tilt and zoom is so easy to use, and you can manually do it or have it auto track. You need this!

Il collegamento è solo ad infrarossi tra la telecamera ed il video, non esiste la possibilità di connettere la telecamera tramite il WI-FI.A livello di opzioni Il baby monitor è dotato dei settaggi che sono quelli che accomunano la maggior parte dei baby monitor in commercio. Possiamo impostare DIVERSE MELODIE e riprodurle anche casualmente o ZOOMARE LO SCHERMO, anche se lo zoom è solamente software. Des babyphones j’en ai testé de nombreux mais cette fois celui-ci coche toutes les casesLe WiFi pour commencer c’est très pratique quand bébé dort chez mamie… il est possible de le voir pour surveiller si tout se passe bien au cas où. Il y a plein d’autres usages possibles comme en vacances également si votre chambre est proche de la piscine… on pourra profiter d’un peu de répit au bord de celle-ci tout en observant bébé pour être prêt à réagir au besoin.La qualité de la caméra est excellente que ce soit de jour ou de nuit, elle est bien sûr motorisée et a un grand angle de vue. Il y a un mode de tracking mais dans notre cas on ne l’utilise pas car on n’en ressent pas le besoin c’est assez gadget.Le moniteur est d’une taille parfaite ni trop grand ni trop petit.L’autonomie est par contre assez basique, il faudra le recharger tous les jours. Il ne sera pas capable d’enchaîner une nuit complète sur sa batterie (en mode vox)Il possède ce mode vox très utile pour que l’écran soit éteint la nuit tout en s’activant au moindre bruit du bébé, un indispensable.

Me encanta que funcione tanto sin WiFi como con WiFi, porque en casa puedo usar la pantalla de 5,5″ en 1080P sin depender de la red (muy estable y sin retrasos), y cuando salgo puedo cambiar a la app y ver todo en 2K desde cualquier lugar. Da mucha tranquilidad tener ese control inmediato.La vigilancia es excelente. La cámara sigue automáticamente los movimientos y avisa si el bebé se acerca a una zona peligrosa. Entre el giro de 300°, la inclinación de 135° y el zoom, se ve absolutamente todo. Además, el audio bidireccional funciona muy bien, y la vista en pantalla dividida es perfecta si tienes más de un niño.Por la noche también marca la diferencia. La luz RGB es suave y la opción en rojo ayuda realmente a crear un ambiente relajante. El monitor incluye ruido blanco y la visión nocturna HD es muy nítida. devo dire che mi ha sorpreso in positivo, l’ho preso per la nascita del bebè di un amico stretto. l’ho testato un po prima di darlo al diretto interessato e l’immagine è davvero nitida, molto meglio di altri baby monitor che ho provato. Fuori casa è possibile guardare il video dall’app sul telefono e funziona senza intoppi, la connessione è stabile e non c’è ritardo fastidioso.La cosa che mi ha convinto di più è il movimento automatico della telecamera, segue davvero il bimbo quando si muove nel lettino, e gli avvisi arrivano subito. Anche di notte si vede benissimo, e la luce soffusa aiuta a creare un’atmosfera tranquilla senza dare fastidio.Trovo inoltre comodissimo il fatto di poter chiudere la videocamera con un tap quando serve un po’ di privacy, e il fatto che si possa passare da Wi-Fi a monitor locale senza dover riconfigurare tutto.
