Compact unit without the funky wicking filters
I’ve previously used the type of humidifier that uses the straw-type wicking filter, and I was always worried about mold and funk growing on the filter. I don’t think this type will have that problem.Controls are simple, and the whole thing is pretty easy to use. I have mine on the floor at the moment, and I will say you have to stand on your head a bit to get to everything, though. (I was worried about dripping/leakage but that doesn’t seem to be a problem, so I will move it to a table).I really like the fact that it is top filling, and you don’t have to invert the tank and hope for the best like my old model.Mist is visible when you first start the unit up, then it is invisible after a few seconds of running. One thing that I did notice was that if the directional output was aimed at a smoke alarm, the visible mist would cause the alarm to chirp thinking it was smoke. It only happened to me once and I moved the humidifier. Live and learn, I guess.I’ve run the unit overnight for three nights now, and haven’t had to add water, unlike my old unit.The connectivity and nightlight aren’t really important to me, so I haven’t used them, but they are there if you want them.All in all, this humidifier does what I want it to do without any trouble so far. It’s small enough to not be in the way, and it really has helped me sleep.

Honestly Impressed
Really nice quality humidifier. I wouldn’t typically go for a “smart” humidifier but after using this I think I like it. We almost always run a humidifier in my sons room in the winter and our current one will basically run until it runs out of water or you shut it off. A This humidifier has a hygrometer built in to display the current humidity levels in the room and can be set to maintain that level. There’s also timers and schedule features as well.There’s an app of course but what’s nice is basically none of the functionality is hidden behind an app. The app enables it from your phone but basically all features can be set on the machine directly without it. All that said the app is actually really nice. Generally these things have very low quality buggy software support but the app is quite responsive, intuitive and looks really nice. You can tell a lot of care was put into user experience. Connecting worked perfectly on the first try which is also rare in my experience with these smart apps. Usually it takes me several attempts getting the wifi to connect but this handled it quite well.The water tank is deceptively large. It seems quite small but when you begin filling it you realize how much water it takes. The display has a digital indicator when the water level is too low. It’s actually full of nice little touches that make this feel like a premium product. For example some settings require you to long press a button on the machine for a number of seconds. When you do a countdown timer appears on the display to let you know how long to hold. It’s a little touch but really not something you see often and really helpful to let you know you’re doing it properly.Another nice touch is the LED light. You can manually set it to three different colors, however it can also change colors to indicate the current humidity levels. Just small things like this make this really feel well thought out.Noise wise it’s generally really quite when running. It has the typically humidifier sounds of bubbling water occasionally but the machine itself is very quiet.Overall I’m really impressed with the quality of this humidifier for the price. I’ve paid nearly the same for a very generic humidifier with only an on/off knob. For the same cost you got a full featured smart humidifier with tons of features. Yes it has an app and yes you have to create an account but the nice part is that if you don’t want to use the app you don’t lose out on any functionality. Thumbs up from me.

Quiet and Very Functional
Got this humidifier to use in my kid’s room in the winter time, since the air tends to get a bit dry, and makes us all get stuffy. I was specifically looking for one with pretty decent sized capacity that was also top-fill, and this one fit the bill.In terms of design, most humidifiers are very similar, with buttons on the base in the front, a quick-removal tank, and a mist outlet. Quality of all these items seems good. The capacitive buttons work well and consistently, and are easy to read. Filling up is really easy and doesn’t leak at all, unlike some others I’ve used in the past.After you fill it up (preferably with distilled water) you can power it on and it will start right away. You can use it completely separate from the app if you like, and even put it in sleep mode (display off) without ever fiddling about. However, if you do use the app, you get some extra bonus features that are really convenient. For one, being able to turn it on or off from my bed or somewhere else is really great. You can also easily see current humidity level / target, adjust the output, and change the lighting modes.One excellent feature on this humidifier specifically is the mist direction adjustment. On top of the tank, there’s a slot that outputs the mist, and you can actually vary the angle quite a lot! This is great, because it lets us angle it away from the wall and keep it dry. It does only adjust in parallel with the long side of the humidifier, but its better than nothing.As far as reliability, I’ve had a couple wifi disconnects, which is a bit annoying, not sure if that’s our fault or the unit. It has a chip that’s only for 2.4g so that doesn’t really help at all.Overall, I really like this humidifier. It’s quiet, has all the features you need, and puts out a ton of mist. Great get!
