Really works, easy to use, great results
I was somewhat skeptical when I bought this, but I have a huge wall of windows in my home, 10 feet high, and cleaning them has always been a struggle. This machine really works – I was pleasantly surprised. You simply fill up the solution, dampen the microfiber pad, attach it to the bot, activate the bot while it’s pressed against the glass and off it goes, covering and thoroughly cleaning the entire pane. Selecting the cleaning program using the app is simple. Manually controlling the bot using the app isn’t quite so simple but there really shouldn’t be much need for that, as the cleaning programs do the job perfectly. I did not have to manually go back over any spots after the bot was done.The bot comes with a small bottle of branded solution. That’s what I used and it works perfectly. Instructions state you can use other types of solutions – even home-made ones – but I played it safe and found a refill bottle of the branded solution from another online source (it does come from China and takes a bit of time). This solution cleans really well and leaves absolutely no streaks so I wanted to stick with what I know works.I should add that my windows are large, floor to ceiling “window wall” panels (I live in a high rise), for which this bot is well-suited…large rectangular panes with no protrusions from the framing. If you have smaller and/or more separated windows (i.e. lots of framing), I could see this being a bit more cumbersome to use – lots of stops/starts. Likewise, if you have protrusions from the glass edges/framing that the bot would need to navigate around (i.e. window cranks, locks, etc.) that would leave some spots still dirty requiring you to take care of those manually after the bot is done.But, if you have large panes of glass, especially tall ones that would require you to get on a ladder to clean, this bot is the perfect solution.

The price has nothing to do with great performance and small size
This window robot is great! It is small, so it’s footprint allows it to be used on normal windows that have a small area, or side- light windows, or even grided windows. It works very well, easy to use, and is amazing at leaving windows streak free. I’m not sure how well it works if one uses some substitute window solution other than what is made by this company. It would be great if one could detach the safety cord as it is somewhat useless for ground level windows and gets in the way. It would also be nice if the power cord was longer or there was an adapter to make the cord longer. I was very pleasantly surprised by its performance, but you really have to stay there while it’s cleaning the window unless you have very large windows because it gets done so fast.I was hoping it would work to clean the sunroof on my Tesla or the windows on my car, unfortunately it keeps saying it’s at the edge of a window even when it’s in the middle. Not sure how this is determined, but it could be the curvature of the glass because I noticed when I put it on the roof of the Tesla it does not lay flat against the glass and you get a low suction alarm. It might be possible to put a spacer pad in such that you can see a larger area, but this has to be confirmed from the manufacturer.. I have not used it on any heavy duty mode other than but the default mode works just fine. I have very dirty windows all the time on the west side of my house from the well water from my sprinkler and it cleans crystal clear.Cleaning fluid us expensive but there is enough supplied for two times on a 1800 sqft house. The refill should last well over a year and is cheapest ordered direct.

Not quite Perfect 😞
It really is an amazing little device and works as advertised. Easy to set up and use and GREAT for high and hard to reach windows. Unfortunately I have not yet found a way to eliminate a “film” that the Winbot leaves on windows. Instructions are adequate but I’d like to know how to get better results.I have done at least 20 windows – some of them twice and still looking for something to improve the results.I will keep trying because I love the concept but I may still need a professional…

Window cleaning made easy
After another IG acct I follow did a video on this I decided to give it a try. Well, first I tried one of the other brands that is round and don’t know what I was thinking. Round pads on square corners is going to not work all that well and sure enough it did not. Then I bought the W1 pro from ecovac and unfortunately it never would work. Just malfunctioned and kept telling me to plug into an outlet and obviously if it was talking it was already plugged into an outlet so I sent that one back immediately. Decided to go with this one as it was a little cheaper and it’s a little smaller and we don’t have any huge windows, though we have a lot of Windows. It is super easy to set up and use. Pads wash out really fast which is good cuz our windows were really dirty so I pretty much have to wash it between every window. It does not use a lot of cleaner. The small bottle it comes with is going to do at least 20 or 30 Windows total and you can buy more and that will last me forever for sure. It’s not overly loud. Does make kind of a squeaky sound when it turns. It stuck to the windows perfectly. Never once came off unlike the round one I tried that would randomly fall off at times. The app allows you to move it, change the settings and do any spots if you don’t want to have to climb out and I was even able to reach out from inside and stick it to high windows and it worked quite well. Really impressed with this little thing.
