Love Love Love these outlets!
These smart outlets are amazing! Setup took less than two minutes, and they work perfectly with Alexa for full automation. The app is super easy to use, and the outlets automatically reconnect if Wi-Fi drops. I mounted them next to my outdoor outlets, and even with Florida’s heavy rain, we haven’t had a single GFI issue. They’re sturdy, waterproof, and incredibly reliable. Highly recommend!

Power, Functional, Priced Reasonable.
We recently purchased LED string lights for our deck, that came with no remote. I wanted a way to control the brightness and timer, from the comfort of home. This device accomplished that. I can set it to come on at “sunset” every night, so no need to fuss with readjusting the timer as the sun sets earlier/later. It also works with Alexa, so we can tell her to turn the lights on/off or adjust the brightness. Great for those 2am dog potty trips, so I can see them, all I have to do is say “Alexa, set the deck lights to 10%” and done. Bonus is that each of the 2 outlets are independent, so we can have 2 different devices turn on/off at different times. Just note, only one of the 2 outlets can dim, the other is purely on/off.

Can’t remember if I already reviewed this product already or not. The device was simple to install and connect with my home WiFi network. I use it to control the lights and fan in my backyard gazebo. The lights and fan can be controlled independently and from any distance using the Google Home app. I could be on the other side of the planet and control them as long as I have a WiFi connection. The connect has been extremely stable. Have never had a connection issue. The device provides weather proof power connections so no worries about shorting out during even the heaviest rainstorms we have experience (we’ve had some very sever ones). Still functioned at 20 degree F. Couldn’t have found a better device. I am a retired aerospace engineer and shopped around to find the best product.

Overall good, just a bit odd with how it actually connects
This is a great unit & was just what I needed for my backyard, with 2 outlets that could be controlled separately. I really like that it has an enclosure for the outlets & set up is pretty straightforward.The main issue I ran into is it doesn’t seem to actually communicate with the app on your phone over your wifi, which seems to be the main point of having it connected to the wifi in the first place.Once I set everything up it functioned fine on its own, but I would receive notifications that it was having timing issues each time it was supposed to be working. If I checked the app in a part of the house that was far from the unit itself (while still being on the same wifi network) it would show that it was offline. Once I got close to the unit, it would show online. That tells me the phone is connecting via Bluetooth and not over the wifi network since distance between the phone & the unit shouldn’t matter if it is over the network & I have other wifi enabled devices (my landscape controller) in the same area of this outlet.So it sends error alerts if you are not close enough for the phone to connect to it directly & It also sends alerts if you are away from the house and would not be able to connect to the unit at all even it it was communicating via wifi. Even though I was getting these notifications when my phone wasn’t directly connected to the unit, the unit WAS still functioning & running through its schedules when I would walk out and check though.So in the end it works and does everything I need – I would just suggest setting it up & turning off notifications to leave it like any other non-“smart” timer. Still worth getting if you need a nice enclosed outlet timer that can control the 2 outlets separately. Just set it up and treat it like a standard timer and turn off the notifications once you have it in place.

So pleased! Easy setup. The 2 inside WiFi controlled plugs work. The app lets you dim one of them (by design). It’s clear, easy to use, the hell covers the plugs well for standard type plugs. Won’t accept a transformer box for devices. Has to be plain, standard 110V plug.

The leader in the outdoor smart plug space is Kasa. TP/Kasa has a single outdoor-rated smart plug with dimming function, but the two plug outdoor smart plug does not include dimming; it is either on or off.I took the chance and decided to try this out since it is outdoor rated, has two individually controllable smart plugs, and they both dim (independently). I didn’t know whether it took a proprietary app to control, as my goal was to integrate it with Home Assistant and use Home Bridge to port the controls into Apple Home.Gladly, even though this uses a branded app, I opened the Tuya Smart app and this popped up right away as a device that can be added. Anything that can be added to Tuya Smart can be added to Home Assistant using the Tuya integration.It took less than 10 minutes to add this to Tuya Smart and set it up through Home Assistant and then to Apple Home via Home bridge. I didn’t see any other reviews mentioning this, so thought I’d save folks some time and confirm that this unit works great as part of a smart home setup.

Pretty plug 🔌, bad headache
Beautiful design earns it one star — otherwise I’d give it negative stars. This “smart” plug was incredibly difficult to pair and nowhere near user-friendly. I’m not calling tech support to spend my day troubleshooting something that should take two minutes. Smart devices are supposed to simplify life, not waste hours of it. I purchased another one and in less than 5 minutes it was paired and working.Great aesthetics, terrible execution — save yourself the frustration.
