I’ve been using the Elite Gourmet EHC4128 Coffee Maker for about a month now, and I have to say — I’m genuinely impressed. It’s a simple machine, nothing fancy, but it does one thing really well: makes a consistently good cup of coffee.As someone who grew up on strong, aromatic South Indian filter coffee (the kind brewed slowly in a metal filter with chicory-blended coffee powder), I’ve always been a bit picky about my morning brew. I wasn’t expecting this little coffee maker to match that experience – but to my surprise, it comes really close.It’s super easy to use — just add water, scoop in your coffee, and press a button. I’ve been using my usual filter coffee powder, and the flavor is bold, smooth, and rich. I make it a bit stronger, then mix it with hot milk and sugar — and honestly, the first sip took me straight back to mornings at home in Chennai. & The reusable filter is a nice touch – no need to fuss with paper filters every day. The warming plate keeps the coffee hot without making it bitter, and cleanup is quick. It’s compact too, which is great for smaller kitchens or apartments.If you’re someone who enjoys South Indian coffee but doesn’t always have time for the traditional method, this coffee maker is a lifesaver. Won’t find a better small coffee maker for the price. No t one negative thing to say about it. Perfectly designed and less than $20! Amazing! Love the reusable filter, nice vents on the top and little notch on coffee basket part. If you want 4 cup coffee maker won’t find a better one than this. I’m really happy with it. Might order a second one just to have. Perfect little coffee maker. I don’t need digital timers or any of that. Amazing product especially for the price.

Elite Gourmet with reusable brew basket is a flop
This is an improvement of the original Mr. Coffee Maker I’m replacing, only because the carafe chipped. It held up for 23 years. Pros: 1) It brews relatively quickly, and the coffee brews at approximately 165 degrees. Pretty standard for 90% of all coffee makers. 2) The footprint is small for tight kitchen counters. 3) Price is great for a basic coffee maker that will last for years. Cons: 1) The reusable filter, while a good concept, brews a very “weak cup of coffee”. Also, microscopic particles make their way into your cup. I put a paper filter under the reusable basket and it will brew a cleaner, stronger cup of coffee. You’ll end up using paper throwaway filters to get a stronger cup of coffee. 2) No auto shutoff. 3) Whatever happened to white coffee makers? Black is so Darth Vader in the morning. LOL

This is the most compact 4-cup coffeemaker I’ve ever owned. It’s simple, basic and perfect for my needs. Makes a solid 4 cups of coffee. Love being able to remove the pot and pour a quick cup. It glides out easily and the pot is easy to pour from. Don’t end up with coffee all over the cabinet like some I’ve owned in the past. So size, design, functionality, yes, yes and yes. And I like the color. My white coffeemaker was stained. Impossible to clean. This gets the daily wipe down but I can’t see any discoloration. If you want a small, basic 4 cup coffeemaker here it is. And I like the reusable filter too. Good one.

Feels super cheap.
It works. It makes coffee. If feels SO flimsy and hte plastic basket is a pain. I just remove the paper filter by hand instead of pulling the basket out. I have to put my hand on the top because the carafe doesn’t want to come out easily. The pour is spill prone unless I pour slower than I normally would. Other than that it makes coffee and was cheap.

J’aime beaucoup le profil de cette cafetière. Elle est mince élégante ne prend pas de place sur le comptoir. Elle fonctionne très bien. Elle fait du bon café. Bon, au niveau du 4 tasses, il faut comprendre que c’est des petites tasses ce qui équivaut environ à 2 mugs . Le filtre permanent et très efficace. Elle ne s’arrête pas automatiquement. Je l’ai branché sur une prise intelligente avec Alexa et une fois qu’elle a fait son café, la prise intelligente est programmée pour arrêter au bout de 30 minutes. C’est une façon économique de faire du café pas de perte jusqu’à ce qu’il faut. Oui je la recommande pour une personne ou deux.

Size: 5 cup Color- blackI bought because my big coffee maker died & I needed a same day replacement. I chose this lesser known brand (at least to me) based on the great reviews,. It did not disappoint! It’s a small but solid coffee maker. the carafe fits snuggly and the pause to pour works well – no drippy mess. It comes with a reusable basket which is great because it’s much smaller than the standard filters. It keeps the coffee really hot for 2 hours. 5 cups is exactly enough for 2 14 oz mugs, Highly recommend.

Elite Gourmet Automatic Brew & Drip Coffee Maker, with PaCae N Serve, ReCaable Filter, On/Off Switch, Water Level Indicator, 5-Cup, Stainless Steel, EHC9420This is a good coffee maker but there are a few things you need to know to make it work best (IMO):- The capacity of this coffee maker is 2 mugs which is 5 cups of water more or less. For accurate water, use the cup you’ll drink from to fill the reservoir. Alternatively, fill the pyrex from your cup to see where to fill it going forward (whether it’s one or two cups).- This coffee maker will make just one cup but, one cup or two…- Use a #2 paper filter in the basket: The water comes too quickly to allow the coffee to permeate the water. As a result, you either have to use more coffee (needlessly wasteful and, even then, inconsistent) or suffer weak coffee.Misses:- If you make a full pot, pour carefully. It pours around the lip/ too wide if you pour quickly.Overall, this is an attractive coffee maker that works. The warming platter holds the coffee at a very nice temperature. If you use a paper filter and get your coffee/ water proportions consistent, you should be able to get an enjoyable cup of joe consistently. Bon appetit!
