Great value, yet loaded with features 👍🏻
This deadbolt and handle set seems to be of great quality. Easy to install just had to peek at instructions once. Once installed and energized by the smart life app I was surprised to heard the lock tell me the door was just locked. So yes I speaks English. Multiple ways to unlock with biometrics, # code, key, or BT through the app. Also, in the event of battery failure, there is a tucked away usb C port that can be used with phone or power bank. For this price point you get a great deal of options. Would purchase again!!

The app makes setup so much easier
I’m in LOVE with fingerprint locks. Even though fishing a key out of my pocket is a small inconvenience, it’s so nice not having to now. As long as I can get a finger up to the lock, I can open the door. This can mean the difference between having to set stuff down and… not having to set stuff down.This particular fingerprint deadbolt lock uses an app for setting up fingerprints and PINs – you use the app to say “record a fingerprint” and then the lock tells you to hold your finger on the lock’s fingerprint sensor. Boom, fingerprint recorded. I have another company’s fingerprint deadbolt lock that doesn’t use an app, and going through the menu using the number pad is a pain. Definitely get a lock that uses an app.

Good security
I have a bad habit of not locking my doors. I got this for 2 reasons, no key needed and it auto locks. The auto lock happens every 10 ish seconds and can be turned off if not needed. I have not used the fingerprint so I can’t comment. I love that I can input a code and don’t need a key. The things I don’t like as much as that the bottom has no lock, only the top and it goes through the 4 AA batteries QUICK. I’d definitely recommend getting some rechargeable batteries for this. I do like the features I tried, and overall I do like this deadbolt and it currently sits installed in my front door.

Very reliable fingerprint lock
If you’ve seen any of my other reviews, you KNOW that I am a nut about fingerprint locks. I’ve tested many over the years, and I’m happy to say that the fingerprint accuracy has improved immensely during that time. My standard for some time has been the Eufy locks, but GHome has done well too in the last year or so. I’ve said many times that if the fingerprint function is reliable, then the lock may be a 5 star… but if it’s not, it’s a 1 no matter what else… after all, it’s the fingerprint function that I will rely on 99% of the time.So the TL;DR conclusion is that this is a 5 star. I’ve had very good response from the fingerprint reader, with very few misses (rare false negatives, no false positives). I should amend my statement above that if a lock ever gives a false positive (unlocks with an unregistered fingerprint), it is automatically a 1 star and I will remove it.I’ve installed a LOT of deadbolts in my 71 years, and installing this one is as easy as it comes. I love having an APP to program fingerprints and codes… try doing that on a lock that doesn’t have Bluetooth and an APP… you have to press keys in strings so rigid that you’re bound to make many mistakes before you get it right.My installation is for an outside location, in direct sunlight at least part of the day, and I haven’t had a problem in the two months it’s been installed. On rare occasions, I DO get a little confused with the actual operation (I can’t hear the “Door Unlocked” message too well, and the door sticks so I’m not sure if it’s unlocked), so I end up using the passcode to open the lock. This has never failed me.The hardware looks and feels solid, and for my purpose (securing an outdoor pool storage room) it’s perfect, as I NEVER have any keys with me when I’m working on the swimming pool.Recommend!
