Hello guys, I would like to share my opinion about this product, I like to buy on Amazon because you receive quality products, I ordered this smart lock for doors, in my opinion this product is very good if what you are looking for is privacy, security and luxuries, its operation is effective with technological intelligence the device works through a phone app, a current key or fingerprint which is easy for you to enter the cabin but difficult for others, what I like is that you can add more than one footprint so it is good for the main entrance door or rooms you can add to your family so you will only have access I think the product is of very good quality and complies with its operation its battery lasts a long time and the price is very good to be something that are normally high value things.

unreliable lock, left my daughter locked out for over an hour
My daughter bought this fingerprint door lock with the Smart App and fingerprint access, and it completely failed when she needed it most.Today, the lock stopped responding — no lights on the handle, the app couldn’t connect through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, and her fingerprint didn’t work. She was locked out of her dorm room for over an hour.We tried everything: restarting the app, resetting Bluetooth, and even removing the Wi-Fi connection. Nothing worked. Finally, after hitting the lock a few times with her palm, the light blinked, and it suddenly worked again — which is not how a smart lock should behave.This product is unreliable and unsafe. A door lock should never trap someone outside their own room. Save yourself the stress and look for a more dependable brand.

Rough Start, Keep Keys Handy
Picked this up to keep the kids out of my office are when not working.Installation was easy and construction seemed durable enough. The setup was a little tricky, but I was able to pair to the app and add two fingerprints. I confirmed they worked and went about my business.Flash forward to a week or so later, and I had not interacted with the fingerprint pad at all since setup. I went to open the door and the sensor never powered on to try to get my print. I opened the app and it wouldn’t pair via bluetooth either. I removed the batteries and tested them all – still 4 AAA at full charge, so it wasn’t a battery drain issue.Further testing is needed but I may be returning this if it’s going to require a reset every time it goes without touch for long periods…Updating my review: These seem to be fine now, just a rough start with two of them not responding shortly after install. They work every time now. Will update for a long term review later.

I got it late and it was also missing a screew it holds up tho solid and strong it keeps the door closed and works welll it looks nice reason I have a 3 star was because it was very confusing how to install the 28mm screws don’t get showed in the video or the instructions where to get put.

So like you who is reading this now , I reviewed the comments on the product before purchasing , I was worried as folks had mentioned how the auto-lock function was cumbersome and truth be told it almost swayed me from purchasing it. That being said it arrived on time after purchase , installed like any other lock set and worked well. I’d suggest folks explore the app control from TUYA for it before judging the product, many of the complaints are fixed with simple options within the app.

This door lock isn’t very good, sometimes you need to put your finger print 5-6 times before it opens, the battery dies very quickly, and despite changing the battery the lock jams even if your fingerprint is detected. Don’t recommend this product.

We bought two of these doorknobs: one black one a year ago and this silver one.The black one has had some issues. Like the key bad doesn’t work well or at all anymore, and the door knob sometimes won’t work with our fingerprint. My husband always jokes and says that it’s because I’m not me and I can’t get in because I’m an alien posing as me. 🙄😂 Not so funny when it happens to him, and I say the same thing back. 🤭 Anyway, the black one still works, but we have figured out that it is sensitive to temperature. If your fingers are cold, it won’t work. So we rub our fingers on our pants, and boom, you’re in. If our fingers are warm, “normal temperature,” then we never have any issues.I gave this five stars because, despite the issues, everyone thinks these are fancy and super cool, and so do we. Now we just got the silver knob for my office, and they have done something different because it works SO much better than the black one we got a year ago. It doesn’t have a keypad but many new upgrade features without the glitches.Both knobs come with keys in case there’s an alien invasion, and you can’t get into your room with your fingerprints because you are not you. 🧐😂🤷🏼♀️I would definitely buy these again, even though the black knob has tested my patience more times than I’d like to admit. 🫣 It still works fine, and the silver works awesome. I believe we’ve had it for a couple of months, and it’s working amazing. I actually prefer it without the key pad.I would recommend these and if you ever have trouble just warm your finger up for a second. They are well made.I hope this helps.

Love that this unit was so easy to install and program through the Smart Life App (which actually is the same as the Tuya App). It does not say in the description that this unit can also be remotely controlled and accessed through a gateway ( which I already have up and running for a Smart Lock which I previously installed on another door). I only gave it 4 stars because it is not clear where to get in touch for any technical or warranty support (one year it says). Otherwise this is an excellent product!
