Easy setup and works great!
Just installed and so far it’s working great. Can stream multiple devices on wireless network with 18GPS down (per Ookla). Here is what we did. Went to AT&T where we have a postpaid plan with unlimited data. Got an additional line and a SIM card set up for Android devices. Downloaded GLiNet for the Spitz Plus and created an account. Connected cell phone to cellular gateway as my router. Went to 192.168.8.1 on web browser. Set up the cellular gateway as a wireless extender of the existing router. This gave me Internet access. Made sure the firmware was up to date (it was). Put new SIM card in slot 1. Set up the cellular connection. Disabled the extender setup & tested with just the cellular active. It took a few minutes but it got connected and works great. Fairly easy. One note: I couldn’t get the cellular gateway to work hard wired to the existing router. But wireless to the existing router worked fine.

It Just Works! Easy To Setup! Fast Up and Down Internet
You will want this! I used in my apartment and I am currently using it in my car on a 6 month road trip. It works flawlessly. Setup was very easy. I added a second line to my t-mobile account and popped in the SIM card and I had great wireless Internet.

Reliable backup internet
Lightweight, portable, reliable, sturdy, solid mount. I use this as backup internet for my network if my main isp fails. Worked with the first SIM card I tried without issues.

Excellent for multi wan internet
Love it as a platform for running backup internet connections. Right out of the box, it supports two Sim cards, two RJ45 uplinks, 1 USB tether, and 1 wifi uplink, so you have potentially 6 IP uplinks for your home network.Never experience downtime, again.

If you’re still running an LM1200, buy this now.
Used a Netgear LM1200 with external antenna for years and decided to try this unit. Difference is night and day. Excellent signal performance from the included antennas. I have an unlimited data plan that is limited to 20Mbit up and down. This thing works so well I get 25 down and the only thing holding it back is the plan speed throttling. LM1200 would only manage 15-18. Very nice feature set in this unit as well, AdBlock built in helps cut down on wasted bandwidth due to ads and trackers.

Requires updated firmware
Spent two hours in the ATT store trying to get it to work. APN needed to be set to Broadband. Store recommended changing the IMEI number, thinking the product was blacklisted. Neither of these solved the problem. ATT 800 tech support was totally useless, basically said since I didn’t buy it from the store, they couldn’t help me.Before giving up and sending it back, I decided to check firmware level. It was older firmware. Updated firmware and BINGO, it now works. Pretty sure APN needs to be broadband. Not sure if the IMEI number needed to be changed, and I’m not going to mess with it again.I’ve seen as high as 120M download, and I’m 1 mile from the ATT tower. We did not update the sim chip, I took the one out of the device this is replacing. Store was concerned, as they no longer to 4G sim chips. I will add one other thing, it is possible to install the sim upside down, and in fact their online instructions show the sim being installed upside down.Programming it is pretty straight forward. I appreciate the ability to program the unit to reboot daily. I find with these type of devices, daily reboot is necessary.I wish I could give it a higher rating, but start up issues is preventing me from giving it a higher rating.

I was using an S22 as a hot spot in my house for several months – being very poor reception in home (night time at best was 25mbit DL and anything from 1-4mbit UL with constant hang up and lag spikes).Got sick of that and so I decided to buy the GL X2000 Spitz 4G modem router and paired with a set of Mopchamp 5G Antennas (45deg Mimo config on roof) (which also work perfectly on the 4G networks in Australia). I don’t have an exact line of sight to tower but was able to roughly align using GPS and compass and fine tune manually with very incremental adjustments. The result is fantastic. I get a stable 60mbit DL and a 20mbit UL.The routers Wifi-6 is also fantastic. I get full bar’s in the home in any area through multipme walls – it’s very good in that respect. The router also allows band locking to LTE networks and preferential band allocations.
