Great camera
This camera is awesome. I have used it for five months to watch my puppy when I am away. It has two way sound and no delay when viewing the footage. App is easy to use and no additional purchases are necessary to use it. Picture quality is good. App is user friendly with lots of features.

Impressive Low Cost Camera
After installing the Golspark Indoor Security Camera, I am quite impressed (see unboxing. photos) with this camera, especially considering its low cost. Installation didn’t take five minutes and was very easy to set up do after downloading the VicoHome smartphone application and is pretty impressive, though obviously still in development. The help area is not linked within the app, however, an extensive help section exists on the VicoHome web site. (There is no reference to the web site in the instructions or in the application.) Night vision has a very clear image with low light sensitivity and the panning controls (left to right as well as up and down) work very well with very little lag time. A firmware update was installed to the camera without any problem, though it took about five minutes.This camera (in 2K mode) has excellent resolution and is very quiet when panning side to side or up and down. Without the cloud option, It does an excellent job of following and notifying of any movement through the room in left to right pans, pets included if panned down. The camera has a battery if you need to install it in a an area without electricity. The two-way audio function works well as does the alarm, which is triggered via the application. Adding anMy main cristicisms of this camera are:1. There is no web site to view or manage your cameras. You must use you smartphone or pad to manage and see the Golspark camera. However, if you have a Apple computer, you can use the VicoHome iOS app. PC/Windows apps and a web client are planned to be released in the future.2. There is no mention of the location of the SD card or any instructions considering it. To locate the slot for the SD card, pan the camera manually up as far as it can go and then quickly shut it off). (The camera can take up to a 128 gb SD card.)3. There is no explanation of the cloud system or mention of it or its costs. The VicoHome Awareness program upgrade is required to add the abilities of intelligent notification and activity zones to the camera. See photos with this review for the costs at different rates for monthly or annual; but the 60-day cloud option shows both “Annual” and a “12 Months” option, which is likely an error.4. The “Help” section is non-existent in the application but is available on the VicoHome web site.5. The USB cord provided for the camera is entirely too short, only about three feet long; apparently provided mostly to charge the battery, not to continuously provide power to the camera—which I prefer.Overall, this is an excellent camera needing a few things which VicoHome is apparently working on changing or adding. I will do an update to this review in a few months if an outdoor camera becomes available, which will make it the perfect candidate to replace my current security camera system.

It took me less than 10 minutes to get everything up and running.•Storage Options: I appreciate having both cloud storage and SD card options. It’s nice to have flexibility depending on my needs and budget.Cons:•App Notifications: The app notifications can be a bit too frequent, especially with an active pet. Adjusting the sensitivity settings helped, but it’s something to be aware of.Overall, the Golspark Indoor Security Camera has exceeded my expectations.
