Easy to use – the savings will pay for this in the first year.
We have 4 nest thermostats in our home and wouldn’t use another brand. They paid for themselves in the first year with the smart savings.

What a huge disappointment
What a huge disappointment. I received this Nest thermostat from Google in terrible condition. When I bought it, I knew it was refurbished, but I never imagined it would be in such bad shape. There’s paint all over it from the previous owner, the box is covered in grease, the screen is scratched, and when you turn the selection dial, it sounds like a rusty tractor.

Love it
I have one downstairs and i decided to put one for the upstairs, i really like the way it learns you’re routine and i have noticed the upstairs a/c has not come on nearly as often as it did before, nobody upstairs during the day and it compensates for that, let’s hope the electricity bill will be lower this month.

Do Not waste your money on this crap
It’s incredible you have to walk by this every 10 minutes to keep the thermostat to cool. You set for 75* and go to bed you will wake up at midnight and the house will be 81*. This saves power/money? Absolutely not! You let your home heat up to 81*+ and then cool it you are expending more power in the process. It does not save money and it is nothing short of garbage. I bought in January and I got fed up with it this week. Its gone. Save your money don’t by anything that connects to the internet. Sometimes older is better.

No where in the description did it say this was a refurbished item. I would’ve purchased another one had it said it was refurbished.
