Works ok, good app alerts, flexible configuration options
It’s ok – but you need to be patient to deal with its quirks. The unit I got must be from an older stock of devices they are getting rid of. The user interface on the unit hardly matches up with that in the app or manual. Once you get it set up, it works and is reliable though.I’m using this as an extra alarm to accompany the one that is built into the home and monitored. Essentially another layer of security with some extra perks that I don’t have to pay monthly for. It’s an updated version of another system they have and allows you to have some sensors simply act as doorbells. So I use that on the exterior to know about movement in specific areas outside that would not normally have movement. The other in-house sensors are set to trigger the alarm. I wish the doorbell would make use of the external siren. The base unit doorbell sound is not that loud, so you need to be near or in a quite house. It does make use of the external siren though when arming or disarming, giving an easy to hear chirp or chirp/chirp.The app is not too bad nor too difficult to learn. But the inconsistent and incomplete documentation means I’m unable to know if I’m using it to its full potential. The manual and the app often use conflicting terms and don’t explain them well. So I’ve just been experimenting with it.Notifications from the app are excellent – at least on my iPhone/iPad/iWatch. One that’s not alarm related but handy is notifications of power outages. One downside to notifications is that aside from power outages or tampering, alarms are the only ones. For example, I can’t get notifications of doorbell activity. With that, I could monitor activity if I’m out of hearing range form the console. The console mount is nicely done. You can mount a small piece to the wall and then attach the console. Just know that there’s a built-in tamper switch and if it’s powered on when you remove the console from it’s mounting plate the alarm will sound. A nice surprise for anyone that might think of taking it down to turn it off.If you already have sensors from their other similar consoles, it’s easy to add them to this unit. The sensors that are shipped with this unit are pre-paired.The weather displayed on the console is useless. It seems to be based off the major city associated with the time zone that was automatically selected during setup.Location – the base until will need to be close to power. Fortunately, it’s USB power so you have some flexibility with the power cable in case you need to extend it. In my case I found a suitable location near power and used some clear 3M Command clips to guide the cables.

Peace of mind that my family is safe
Safety for my family is always top of mind. We live in the country and I wanted to take the plunge and get a quality home security system. This home security system has exceeded all of my expectations. This massive system comes loaded with features. You get multiple window and door sensors, high decibel speaker that is very loud, remote controls, main base unit, charging cable and power supply base, and simple easy to follow instructions.Everything is very high quality and very well designed. Setup is a breeze and took me no more than 30 minutes from start to finish. We tested all the sensors and features and everything works perfectly. If you want to keep your family safe and secure, this is the best system to get the job done right!

Good idea but needs serious refinement to make it actually usable.
Great idea and plenty of add on options but the basic platform is not ideal. First the home panel is set up to mount on a wall. The panel is not wireless and needs to be plugged in via an included short USB cable and plug. This means you either have a wire (and extension cord) hanging down your wall or you cut into the wall and feed the cable behind the sheet rock. The same issue applies to the included siren. It is not wireless and must be attached to the home panel. This means the siren sounds inside your home instead of outside, as others do, to draw attention to potential break in. The range for the sensors is not great and if you have load bearing walls or concrete block walls between sensors and panel they won’t connect consistently. I imagine a larger house would be problematic too. There’s just too many issues with this product at this point to give it more than 2 stars.

It works as described, but it lacks professional monitoring capabilities
This system works entirely over Wi-Fi and sends alerts straight to your phone through an app. I used the Smart Life app, and the notifications came through almost instantly when I tested the sensors. It includes the main panel, door/window contacts, a motion detector, a siren, two remotes, and two RFID tags. It plugs in with a USB-C cord and also charges an internal backup battery.A couple of things to be aware of: the included cord is only about three feet long, so if your outlet isn’t close, you’ll need to get a longer one. Also, this system cannot be hardwired, and there’s no option for professional monitoring. That means it won’t call law enforcement, you’ll need to do that yourself. It does, however, work with Alexa and Google Assistant. For basic self-monitoring, it functions well, but the lack of a monitoring option keeps it at three stars for me.

Nice simple alarm system
This alarm system comes with two sensors: a door sensor and a motion sensor. Pretty easy to set up. However, the instructions isn’t too helpful or accurate. When I logged into the mobile app, there were several sensors already set up. The door sensor was easy to identify. However, identifying and setting up the motion sensor was trial and error. The set also comes with two RFID fobs that I believe disable the unit and a wired alarm/speaker. Not sure how useful the wired alarm/speaker is. You have to plug it into a 3.5mm jack in the unit. The unit itself alarms as well. What would have been nice is a wireless remote speaker that I could place outside my house. I didn’t try the SIM chip option so alerts are sent via Wifi and the mobile app. Overall, it’s a basic alarm system that’s not too hard to install once you figure it out yourself.

Quality Alarm System
Ok, full disclosure… this security system was for a new home… which we don’t have. But from what I have discovered so far, this is a high-quality, user friendly, technologically advanced system that I will be excited to use. Updated review to come, but first impression is excellent!
