Very Simple
My old thermostat from the 90s stopped working. Found this one. Didn’t want a timer that was programmable. This the simplest I could find and the price was right. Works fine and easy to install. Only 3 wires. Does not have a light and the switches are a little hard to handle but overall, does the job and doesn’t break the bank.

Very good, simple thermostat. No programming. Had difficulty installing because my old 34 year old thermo didn’t match wire colours on new unit and didn’t identify which wires controlled which functions (like heat, cool). Andrew at Honeywell help desk was super helpful and showed me a simple step to fix problem. No waiting and had interactive app so he could see my unit directly thru my phone and take pictures etc.

Easy to install and simple to operate. If we want it cooler if we leave for a few days we just push the down button until the desired temp shows up and walk away . We can turn it back up when we get home. No worries about programming it wrong like the programable thermostat we did have before.

Just installed.Simple, works. (not long term comments) Controls D5 Espar Diesel hydronic , only connected Espar Red and Yellow ( of R + Y +Brown cable on NA version Espar). R to R(+Rc) , Y to W.Is Extremely basic, only has one temperature setting that you can change just by pressing the up down arrows to new setting. ( Can be set to F or C). Unit is surface mount , wires enter through back (drill small hole in wall).Only negative is it only goes down to 40F (4.5C) . May ? want to set just above freezing, or maybe 4.5 is OK.

This thermostat was easy to install and easy to set, works great. My old wires did not match but I used the alternate wiring diagram in the instructions and it worked out great. The wiring labels, to mark the wire colours made things much easier. My 25 year old thermostat was all over the place and not accurate but this one shuts off furnace and air conditioning very accurately. Thanks Honeywell. Canada
