It’s a siren.
Compared to the older version, this one has more surface mount components and is a bit more sensitive to noise on the 24VDC siren power feed. This means if the line is unshielded and next to power it can create noise at the siren. A simple noise filter solves that issue. Just something to be aware of. It’s every bit as loud. The mounting holes are exactly the same as the older unit and can use the same hardware. Device does some with drywall expanding anchors and screws. Case is identical on the outside.

works well
I used this as a part of an alarm for a lift station control I built….it is in operation now….the alarm went off and it was loud enough to get the attention of the property occupants….inside the building…about a hundred feet away. It isnt water tight, but I built a metal weather proof enclosure for it….and its been fine.

Great Loud Siren
Easy installation. Added it to my system so I could put the horn style outside. Very loud for inside home. Good product.

Piercingly loud, way louder than needed
I was planning to connect this to a smart switch, and have it activate when a leak is detected. However, this siren is WAY too loud. It’s almost ear piecing. I’m going to look for a different siren

Works well
Doesn’t come with wiring so you’ll need to figure that out. I just split an old 9V AC/DC adaptor and attached it and it works well. That gets plugged into a smart outlet so it can be controlled with an app. I’m sure the 9V charge isn’t filling its potential for volume since it’s built for 12v but it’s still loud enough that it’ll scare someone away from our driveway.

It just works
Got the Honeywell WAVE-2 Siren and it’s honestly a game-changer for my home security. This thing is super loud, which is exactly what you need to scare off any unwelcome visitors. The best part? You can switch up the siren types easily, so it never gets too predictable. Plus, hooking it up with a smart plug was a breeze – it fits right into my home automation setup. I’m really happy with this buy. It’s given me an extra layer of peace of mind.

Quality design
Nice hinge cover. Very loud. Easily mount. Screw terminal access with plenty of room.Newest design has all of the circuit board components on the underside to prevent damage. I purchased 8 and they all work great. Highly recommend.

Excellent and VERY loud!
This is a very loud siren 12 volt DC to be used for smoke or intrusion alarms. I used this with a Konnected hard wire alarm system upgrade for an old 35 year old alarm system. I ended up installing one in client’s basement and one on main floor. THEY ARE VERY LOUD. Each uses less than 0.5 amps (500mA)

I added this to my WYZE Canada Home Security Monitoring System because no siren was included. I set some rules to trigger the the WYZE plug I plugged this alarm into. The experience has very good. Very satisfied with it

One of two support anchor point is broken. This may not impact the performance, but this define the poor quality of the product.Disappointing 🙁
