Easy set up.
Great camera for a low price. Easy to set up and operate. I haven’t subscribed to any of the online monitoring services, so I can’t speak to them, but just to have eyes on your place, they work great.

Great for my rental home security!
I installed this lightbulb camera in 5 mins—just screwed it into an E27 socket! The app paired via Bluetooth instantly, no messy wires. 2K video is crisp, and starlight night vision lets me see my yard clearly after dark. AI only alerts me for humans, not stray cats—no more false alarms. Shared access with my roommate too. Super easy, keeps my place safe!

WORTHLESS!!! Will not connect.
This product is absolutely horrible exclamation point I bought it for our lake house to keep tabs of what’s going on when we’re not there and it never would connect to our Internet. I used the QR code and I tried the manual process and neither worked. Customer Service is a disaster. The only way you can reach them is through email and it takes a long time for them to respond. Since this was not at our main home, I was not there to be able to try to get it fixed when I got the response. After a few weeks of back-and-forth, it got to where it wasn’t worth the time and I bought a different product that worked very well. It’s been almost a year now That it’s been sitting here at my desk and I’m finally at the point of just giving up and throwing it away.

It’s OK, Not Great
Keep in mind this thing only costs $20, so it’s hard to be too tough on it. A quality security camera will be $100 at the bare minimum and the best ones start-off in $300 range. If you just want some decent images of your front porch or driveway, it will do the job. I will list pros and cons below.Pros:* The image quality is pretty good, especially in the daytime. It claims 3k, and that might be true, but I have noticed it doesn’t really matter as most of these cheap sensors have a lot of compression which makes the image blurrier than a true 3k or 4k.* It is very easy to install and the setup was not hard.* It uses 2.4 Ghz Wifi, which is actually better than 5 Ghz for this application as 2.4 will penetrate further out.* The app is easy to use and self-explanatory.* It does your standard motion tracking, sound detection, and sends alerts to your phone.* The sound detection and voice communication quality is actually pretty decent.* The motor that moves the camera is pretty quiet. You need to be within a couple feet to hear it.* A 128GB SD card will give you probably a week of 24/7 recording if you want it to record constantly.Cons:* Must pay for cloud storage if you want to record remotely. You can use an SD card, but it must be on the camera itself. The problem with an SD card is it can be stolen along with the camera which will leave you with no footage. For this reason, any camera relying on an SD card would be best installed at a height not easily reachable, if at all possible.* You can watch the video feed remotely on the Internet if you want. They claim the connection is secure, but who knows if that’s really true. It’s a Chinese company and they can pretty much do whatever they want with your data.* The camera’s detail and resolution drops at night. At night, moving objects are very “ghosted” and it’s hard to make them out. This is especially true of moving cars at night (it looks just like a blur of light). To be fair, this seems to be pretty common with most cheaper camera sensors.* The motion tracking does not work very well. In the daytime it is acceptable (still not perfect) but at night I have noticed it does not work at ALL. I can walk directly in front of the camera at night and it only tracks me about 10% of the time. Ironically, if I turn off “human filtering” it will track me every time. The problem with that is it tracks everything, including insects, which makes it useless. Even if I set motion detection to the lowest sensitivity it still tracks literally anything.* It does not have a pet/animal tracking mode, so it won’t follow Fido as he is out in the back yard. If you turn off human filtering it will do it, but then it tracks literally every little movement which, again, makes it useless.* It has a vehicle detection setting, but it’s far too sensitive and not very “smart.” One problem is it will detect my own (parked) cars in the driveway and randomly send me “vehicle detected” alerts. I don’t want it to detect parked cars. Also, it will follow every car that passes on the street, so if you live on a busy street, this feature is probably not the best to use.* Most annoying of all is it does not have a “home” setting. This is a setting where the camera will move itself back to a pre-set location once it is done tracking whatever it was tracking. Often when I wake up in the morning I will see the camera pointed in a weird direction I do not want. (It does have a “site” setting where the camera can be put into a position you pre-select, but you must do it MANUALLY every time, which makes it pointless).* The app randomly crashes at certain times. Not a huge deal, but worth noting.Conclusion:I watched a ton of reviews on these lightbulb cameras and all of them seem to be pretty cheap and low quality. Yes, you can get a pretty good daytime image from them, but they all have quirks and aren’t super reliable. No major American company (Blink, Wyze, Ring, etc.) has jumped onboard the lightbulb camera bandwagon so we are left with only Chinese companies whose software is very low quality.I will give it 3 stars because it “kinda” works and is only $20. Because of the price it’s not a bad option if you just want to monitor your front porch or something of that nature. Indeed, I would probably just turn off the motion tracking feature and use this camera as a regular stationary camera. Perhaps they can fix some of these issues with a software update, so maybe it will get better in time.
