All these cameras I purchased died within 10 months–2nd update–I got a ridiculous [AI sounding] response from the company trying to excuse their product’s terrible firmware and connectivity shortcomings, saying the reason for their camera’s connectivity problems is that I do not have the camera close enough to the router. Apparently when in doubt, blame it on the customer. Now how would someone 12,000 miles away know where I have the cameras located? The cameras are in fact 5- 15 feet from the router and always have been, were moved to other positions same distance away, and quit dead despite rebooting and reinstalling many times. And of course the company is of no help whatsoever. Buy cheap=get cheap stuff. It’s on me.UPDATE–they were lovely at first–until I unplugged them and moved each to a better location [still within easy reach of my wifi signal]. After that, the cameras are having massive connectivity issues. Sometimes they work, but can go for hours with no picture. Reverts to a nearly permanent message “Please wait while loading”. So the camera’s firmware is apparently very very fragile. Now all of mine are down, even though on the initial user interface screen on my phone it says they are “online”. Not on my line it seems. I have re set them all, pushed the revert to factory settings button, and reconfigured each. They remain functional only briefly before reverting to no picture.Easy hookup and recognition of my new micro sd card. Home security cams have come a long way in the past 3-5 years. My particular individual camera will absolutely not [so far] switch from 24 hour to 12 hour clock; nor will it record at 30 minutes alarm intervals even when I repeatedly choose that option and save it. This is made less serious by the huge capacity SD card I installed. Despite adjustment attempts, the camera still alerts to and records every single movement in the room at short intervals instead of performing a movement-triggered alarm recording every 30 minutes as desired.. However, for the price and ease of use these are not deal breakers.The technology of this camera is an obvious boiled-down cousin to the millions of surveillance cameras deployed in China to track their population with facial recognition. I am sure that is why it is dirt cheap–they are cranking out literally millions of far more sophisticated hi def cameras for not much more money– for the Chinese police and security forces. Regardless, it is very useful in my house for personal use.

It does much more than I expected!
The block style camera design is basic. It was relatively quick and easy to set the camera up in the app.Has some good features I like including motion and human detection, 24hr continuous recording (with SD card) and more.Allows use of SD card and/or purchase of cloud subscription for storage. Cloud service is not required to use most functions of the camera but will provide you more storage options and few additional features.I have not opted to use the cloud as the sd card is sufficient for me at this time.Two-way voice intercom is clear and audible.I’m able to set specific days/times that I want motion detection to be active.The magnetic base is strong and comes with a magnetic plate as one option for mounting.It comes with a 5ft cord which is a bit annoying since most times these cameras are being installed up high on a wall, ceiling etc. I have to use an extension cord until I purchase a longer cord. I really think they should be including a longer cord.Picture quality is pretty good..you can switch between SD, UHDThe sound quality on playback I’d rate about 7/10 (10 being excellent)The app is ok and allows you to access the settings for various actions. I don’t love the playback features….it needs a way to go or forward 30 seconds. I also think you should be able to click on an alarm event and it take you to that playback on the sd card but instead it only shows a still photo of the alarm and I have to look at the date and time to manually search the sd card for that event.You do have the ability though to download recordings and snapshots.Overall, I really find this a good camera with good features especially for the low price under $10. I have two of them and thinking of getting more.

Okay for the price
I bought these on accident thinking they were the wyse cams but they’re doing the job, I just wish they had a little more features. It is a relatively cheap product, but at that price, it doesn’t matter.
