Got not one but TWO defective robots. Doesn’t work with iPhone either??
Bought this on Amazon Prime Day for $150 and I’m pretty sure it’s their way of just getting rid of the defective robots they have in the back room or something?Not only would my iPhone not connect to the robot (my husband had to do it on his Android, and if I lived alone, I wouldn’t have been able to connect it), but the fully charged robot would literally just jump off the charger and stop when you hit “clean”. Doesn’t work if you use the app to start it either. It literally says it’s vacuuming but it’s not, it’s just sitting on the floor like it’s dead.I’m extremely unimpressed with their customer service hours and wait times. They’re only available when the typical person is at work and it took me three days to get somebody because I sent an email which didn’t get a response for three days and then when using the chat feature it took 45 minutes for someone to respond the first time, and at that point I had walked away from my computer for more than 3 minutes so the chat was disabled. The second time I sat and stared at my computer for a full 35 minutes before getting a response, only to be told to remove the battery and replace it and also to factory reset it. Because the robot would not factory reset and the battery thing didn’t work, he deemed it defective and sent me a new one.I AM impressed with the time it took to get the new one, it was literally a day and a half. But guess what? The new one had the EXACT same problem. Not only the iPhone connection issue but also the hopping-off-the-charger and cannot be factory reset issue.Why are you sending me products that don’t work??? Additionally, you don’t find this out until you get the damn thing but it says in the instructions to ROLL UP YOUR RUGS to use this robot. I’m sorry what??? This is a vacuum that only mops if you have water in the basin and you still cannot use it on your living room rug that is tucked under a thousand pounds of furniture.Returning both of these pieces of junk and will not be buying anything from this company. Going to try another brand.

Piece of Junk – DON’T BUY
I would give this zero stars if I could, but since I want to warn others, 1 star it is.The robot set up seems easy enough, once I had it was set on its charging station and it was easy to go through the app, that was the last time anything was easy.When I attempt to trigger a clean from the app, the vacuum starts whirring but doesn’t move. The app shows that the robot is “cleaning” for a few seconds, but then nothing. When I attempt to trigger it by pressing the “clean” button on top”, it chimes its bells twice, then shoves an inch off the charger and promptly shuts down. The battery should have been fully charged (that’s what it says in the app, and I left it on the charger for a full day), but it still dies completely. I put it back on the charger, and a few seconds later it makes the same chimes and pushes off and dies again. It’s like Sisyphus, here.I attempted to troubleshoot through the app (no options for help in the app itself), and through the links on Amazon, but those links lead you to a page where it wouldn’t let me click on any of the options. I even tried calling, and the phone rang once then just stayed silent for 2 minutes.And finally, when trying to return it, Amazon and UPS are both completely useless. When I first went to return, the only option that didn’t force me to print my own shipping label (it’s 2025, obviously I don’t have a printer) was UPS pickup, but a week later, no one from UPS ever came to actually attempt a pick up. I’ve been a hermit waiting for SOMEONE to show up, but no one has even attempted to contact me or come to my door. So Amazon made me cancel and choose another option, all still are forcing me to print my own label.This thing is a piece of junk, and Amazon’s quality of service has tanked. 0/10

10 de 10, cuando se descarga puede perder conexion al celular, pero reiniciando el modem de internet todo vuelve a la normalidad, no se cae en los balcones y escaleras, ahorra mucha agua, limpia muy bien.No duden en comprarla la verdad es una maravilla, me siento libre, ella trapea mientras yo limpio otras cosas, ahorra mucho tiempo, y tambien si andas trabajando fuera de casa, con la aplicacion la puedes activar para que limpie.

This combo essential is absolutely horrendous. It does its job. But I can’t stand the thing. He goes back to his dock and then decides to turn circles on his dock and then messes up his dock.Every error message (that could literally say what the problem is) instead, it’s “Error *insert error number here* SEE THE APP FOR HELP”When it could instead just say “REMOVE OBJECT FROM VACUUM HEAD” but noooo…. it just says “ERROR 13. SEE THE APP FOR HELP”ERROR THIS…. ERROR THAT… SEE THE APP FOR HELP.NO! I’m not going to see the app for help because it’s just a simple sock stuck in it’s mouth. The devs need to see an app for help. Not me lolAlso… it goes in straight lines.Like [____________________________________][_____________]Pong style Roomba IS BETTER!!!!!!!!!CLEANS BETTER. CLEANS FASTER. CLEANS HAPPIER.You know how “old” cell phones, TV’s and cars and gaming consoles are typically worse than their modern counterparts.Either Amazon’s acquisition of iRobot has degraded the quality (judging by the cTerrible made-in-china-knock-off quality speaker and startup sound, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jeff Bezos is somehow responsible for the degradation of the iRobot brand from ELITE to “why would I even want this product in my house?”)Or something is just…Models from 2011 are far superior to the models of 2024.I will be returning this because it’s causing more stress in my life.I will hopefully repurchasing a Deebot 500 from Evovacs. That was a very quality one. It matched the high standard that 2011 iRobot used to be known for with their Roomba 780.Also, there’s no remote with this vacuum.And the “mop” is just a water bin that drips water onto a cloth pad as it passively drags it across the floor.It’s as good a mop as those mop outfits you can put on a baby. Cleans about as well too.I was really hoping to be happy from this. This is my 3rd robot vacuum. I’m not new to them.But this is a massive downgrade in quality and in overall experience and joy. And yes, every product you buy affects your joy. Either positively or negatively.This one very much impacts mine in more negative ways and I’m recovering from extreme trauma and need only happy and “this does not spark joy”.This sparks rage and anger.Tldr; buy it for the vacuum and only use it if you’re not home when it runs or you’ll cry.
