Special needs families- you need this
My daughter is 4 with autism. She is an eloper and would be out any door or window she could access within a split second. Our house is old with really thick trim around doors so many of the door locks advertised for top of door just didn’t work. She learned how to open the baby knob covers and knows how to use the chain lock so I went into a panic search when I found this. You need a code to get in and to get out. You can add fingerprints on both sides and different codes. It has been a literal lifesaver in our home. Very sturdy and secure. One other cool thing is that the added codes or fingerprints only work on the side you add them in- so we have multiple therapists in and out of our home and I want them to be able to leave on their own but not necessarily have a code to our house anytime, so they have an exit code that only works to allow them to exit. Everyone with a family member that wanders needs this!

Great for families with kids with ASD
I have a child with ASD and he’s a runner, it’s perfect that the keypads and finger print scanners are on both sides. Keeps him from running out the front door which has been a huge stress relief. He does like to stim on it a little bit because of the noise it makes when you put in the wrong code or finger print so I’m sure I’ll have to replace batteries often, but atleast he’s safe. Super easy to install

Perfect for any house
Sensitive digital print. Fits any door. Only downside is to remember which way to turn the knob or else it will not open it. Other than that it is what we were looking for. Perfect for that parent or relative with dementia, you can feel secure knowing that they will be safe in the home and will not be easy for them to leave the house.

Excellent product. My mom has dementia and has recently started wandering and getting lost. This lock gives her the ability to ask one of us for help before going outside, so we can safely accompany her on walks. It has made a huge difference for our family.
