The good quality that JBL offer
Alright JBL you come through every time! I have the tubular speaker and 2 belt loop speakers and I enjoy all of them. The stereo sound is outstanding. The sound bar set up was/is so simple. You can’t go wrong with the purchase of JBL products. By the way the tubular portable speaker is over 10 years old and still going strong so you decide!

Clear Sound better than Reg TV
Just got it, open n hooked up..as far as sound, it will mostly be better and clearer than ur regular TV speakers unless u got a high end TV that got great sound but for reg TVs, your sound bar will sound way better but Remeber ain’t no Bose, so as far as base, u on 1 or 2 these mostly isn’t any.. just clear louder sound..

Should’ve spent a little more.
Meh… I added this to a TV I put outside at my tiki bar. The tv is an Insignia 50” 4k fireTV. I got it for $200 even. Super cheap, borderline disposable after a 2-3 years. Bright enough for outside (covered patio) and smart functionality. The sound from the tv wasn’t bad, ESPECIALLY considering the dirt cheap price, but I figured a small soundbar would really help things. I own tons of JBL speakers. 7 total, including 2 partyboxes and a 2.1 soundbar in my living room that I LOVE. This soundbar obviously sounds better than the tv speakers, but not by a lot. Some of the sound improvement must just be from the speakers firing forwards instead of down. I lose the ability to tune sound settings on the tv when this soundbar is connected. So I’m just stuck with factory EQ. No bass adjustment on the remote. At the same volume setting it’s much quieter than the tv but still gets plenty loud at the higher numbers. This isn’t a negative for me. I paid $150, and considering it’s on a $200 tv, that means it increased the cost of this setup by 75%, while improving sound by about 20%. So I would say not worth it. Only reason to buy this is if your tv speakers are legitimately awful. Think super cheap $120 30” bedroom tv that’s so bad you have a hard time understanding what they’re saying. Even then I don’t think I’d buy it again. For not a ton more money you can get something wayyy better. But it serves its purpose at an ok price point. Real value of this is around $80 in my opinion.

Compact and Reliable Audio Upgrade
I recently purchased the JBL Bar 2.0 All-in-One (MK2) for my small living room, and it has exceeded my expectations! Here’s why I think it’s a great buy: It’s sleek and fits perfectly under my TV without taking up too much space. The black finish blends seamlessly with my setup. For a 2.0 channel soundbar, it delivers crisp and balanced audio. Dialogue in movies is clear, and it’s great for casual music streaming too. Setup was a breeze with the HDMI ARC connection. The remote is straightforward, and switching between modes is hassle-free.While the sound quality is good, it doesn’t have the deep bass you’d get from a soundbar with a dedicated subwoofer. It’s still fine for smaller spaces but might not be enough for bass-heavy music or action-packed movies.

Underwhelming at best…
This soundbar is very disappointing. Not what I come to expect from JBL. Every other JBL product I’ve owned or used the sound quality is excellent. Not this soundbar. It does make the tv sound louder but the sound quality isn’t there. There’s virtually no bass. It sounds like the tv speakers only louder. I also tried music via Bluetooth and it sounded awful. Also, was a pain to figure out how to get the tv sound to play through the soundbar. If you want to amplify your tv volume, this will work. If you’re looking for something to not only give more volume, to enhance the overall quality of whatever you’re listening to, this ain’t it. Will be returning it

Works well with HDMI ARC. Replicates sound well if there is a lot of base in the music you hear it , there are no treble or bass so you cannot artificially add bass

Perfect for me. I don’t need a 5-star massive loud surround sound mega system like some do. I just wanted my crappy TV audio to sound a lot better and to be able to actually hear voice in movies & shows. This product does that very well for a great price. Total value I wish I hadda bought it sooner.
