    A solid mid-range air purifier
Very quiet and really gets the job done without being pricey. A solid mid-range air purifier that handles the desert dust & pet dander that was the reason for the purchase. It’s a great balance of price, performance, and easy maintenance, perfect for small rooms. Overall, it’s an awesome purifier — it cleans the air effectively and stays impressively quiet.

    Levoit Air Purifier
I’ve been researching a lot of these Air Purifiers to find the right one for me and because I have a pet, I decided to give this one a try. I am very pleased with the quality of this one, it works just as it says.It also has a timer button so you can set it for 2 hr-8 hours to run , then it automatically cuts off until you reset it only for the timer. You can also purchase the other two filters that control different types of odors, the filter that came with mine was for helping with allergies from pet dander, but I must say it does help so much with not smelling musty odors also. Since I’ve bought this it has helped so much with having clean air to breathe in. I love the night light feature it’s subtle lighting and it still does put out air, but it’s very very quiet. It has 3 levels to adjust of how much air flow comes out, so Easy to Use. Wonderful for Seniors. I have the one that plugs into outlet. I keep mine running 24/7. It does have a red light on the top and that will highlight only to let you know it’s time to clean or replace the filter. I love it and next year I’ll be getting another one to place in a different room and get a different filter for it. I also have mine in the hallway which happens to be the midpoint of between kitchen and den area. Thank you Levoit for making such a wonderful and affordable Air Purifier!!!

Powerful, Quiet, and Perfect for Allergy Relief!
The LEVOIT Air Purifier has made a huge difference in my home. With coverage up to 1073 ft² 🏠, it easily handles large rooms and keeps the air fresh and clean. The high‑efficiency filtration 🌬️ works wonders on pet hair, dust, and allergens — I’ve noticed a big improvement in my allergies since using it.Despite its power, it runs quietly 🤫, making it perfect for the bedroom. I love the sleek design, and the controls are simple and intuitive. It’s energy‑efficient at 56W ⚡, so I don’t worry about running it all day.For the price, the quality and performance are outstanding. Highly recommend to anyone who wants cleaner air, better sleep, and relief from allergies 🌟.

Cost effective for small spaces/limited use
An air purifier is not a complicated device. It is a fan, and an air filter. The fan pulls air through the air filter, and catches various particles and impurities in the air. As long as you have a decent HEPA filter, and a fan that has enough velocity to circulate the room air through the filter effectively, it will work to clean the air. You can build one yourself with a box fan and some high quality furnace filters and duct tape if you have to.So what distinguishes this one from the hundreds of others out there, why is it so popular?(1) Low up front costs – this has enough power to handle a small room effectively and a true HEPA filter at a pretty low initial cost.(2) Easy to live with – the fan is very quiet except on high, and even on high it isn’t obnoxiously loud. Changing the filter takes about 10 seconds and is easy to do. There is a pre-filter to catch large dust/animal hair and the like which you can vacuum to extend the life of the HEPA filter for small particles. The unit itself is not huge or ugly, so it can sit in the corner of most rooms without being objectionable.(3) Available filters – this unit’s extreme popularity means that there will likely be filters available for many years.(4) It does work – I bought an air quality meter after the recent wildfire smoke episode, and it shows me that this thing does a pretty good job in small rooms. In bigger rooms it will still provide some benefit, but it is really not able to move enough air quickly enough to clean a large room.Downsides:The filters are relatively small, so they will have to be changed fairly frequently if you run the unit constantly. How frequently? I don’t know, your mileage will vary depending on how many pets you have, how much wildfire smoke is in your area, etc. But I would expect to buy at least two a year if comparing this to other units that may have larger filters you need to change less often. So think about the total running costs and not just the up front cost when comparison shopping here. If you are thinking about saving money by trying to run this in a bigger room than it is designed for, don’t go down that road. You do need to size your unit to the area you are trying to keep clean. A large room needs a larger unit with a bigger fan and a bigger filter. Also, all of these things are quieter if not running on high. So it is better to get a bigger unit even one that handles more than you are asking it to, and then run it slower and change the filters less often versus trying to save money up front and then driving the thing as hard as it will go to barely get any benefit.

    Very clean air!
Purchased this unit specifically to mitigate allergens from outside as well as from my Siberian Husky for a good nights sleep! Single unit works extremely well cleaning a 9’x9′ bedroom with the door closed. My air quality meter shows AQI dropped from 80 down to 1 (extremely good air) with PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0 counts in single digits. The room just smells fresh! Unit additionally has enough power for adjacent 12’x12′ living room, but I usually limit to the bedroom. I’ve run the unit on medium and high settings almost constantly (4 months) without issue. For noise, you’ll hear it running but I would describe it as a “soft” white noise — very suitable in my opinion for sleeping. I haven’t tested unit much in the dedicated “quiet mode”.The control pad are backlit for night use. My only complaint is only the mode which is operational is illuminated on the control pad. If you want to change from say “regular mode” to “quiet mode” you’ll need some other light to see the keypad in a dark room. If they could make all buttons dimly lit, and the active mode brightly lit it would be perfect, but just a minor suggestion (not worth a star deduction – and I really don’t need to change settings/modes often).I feel the unit is a great value and will likely purchase a 2nd unit.

I recently purchased the Levoit Air Purifier, and I’m honestly very impressed. It cleans the air extremely well, removes dust and bad odors quickly, and makes the room feel fresh within minutes. The noise level is very low, so it doesn’t disturb sleep at all. The filter quality is great, and the auto mode adjusts perfectly based on the air quality,I’ve tried a few purifiers before, but Levoit definitely feels next-level in performance. For the price and quality, this is one of the best options you can buy.
