False advertising
Do not buy this if you are looking for a camera that will work without a subscription. They tell you that an SD card can be used to record and watch video. It will work for 30 days, and after the window for returns closes they do an “update” on the AJCloud App and the replay button will no longer allow you to watch video. This is a scam

Waste of money.
Camara quality is good but useless:1. Out of 5 times I walked through the door I set camara up next to, it only recognized me 3 times2. Unless you pay for the subscription you don’t get any video notification and the still frame pic is always blank as it’s to delayed3. The notification doesn’t come until 10-15 min later and it’s time stamped wrong. It says the time you get the notification not when someone was at door.4. Light doesn’t stay on so don’t expect to use it in place of a light outside. When I walk up it doesn’t even turn on half the time so the motion sensor is not even working.Over all, very disappointed

The camera itself is great for the price. I have no complaints with that. It is the app that operates the camera which is the problem.You can install an SD card for memory on the camera but it comes with a few headaches.First it’s an open slot on the bottom and it’s vulnerable to rain, dirt and debris. I cut a small piece of waterproof duct tape and covered it as well as the reset button in order to preserve the SD card and not get water or dirt in the reset button. The instructions such as they are do not tell you which way to insert the SD card. Just to let you know the smooth part of the SD card should face inward. Or if you put the SD card in and the top part is sticking out then you have the card in backwards, just pull it back out and reverse the card and it’s fine. When it’s inserted correctly you will not see the top of the card, it will go all the way in.Second, the app charges you for viewing your videos. They are not saved on your SD card they are saved on the app. If you want to view the videos they suggest you pay for their storage service in order to see videos. I think it’s outrageous. If you have an SD card why should you have to go through all the drama and the trouble and pay them?The visual quality of the camera is pretty good even at night. But I do have a complaint about when the camera spots and follows a subject. I don’t know whether it’s because of the pay to view feature of the app but we had an incident where a delivery was made and and then an attempt was made to steal the delivery. But all we had on camera in the alert feature was a picture of the delivery from when it first arrived. No video. No pic of the would be thief. The app reminded us that in order to see videos you had to pay. That is/was ridiculous. We’ll be getting another camera without an app that tries to make you pay and infringes on your safety. What’s the point of this camera if when it’s time to view stuff you can’t see it. Why do you think we bought the camera?The cameras okay, but because of the app that controls it, I do not recommend this camera.

Worth the price

Useless POS
Setup seems easy with wifi and camera works. Then it goes offline and there’s zero support to state why. I’m a 3 decade tech professional and have wasted 6+ hours and still this product is useless as is the support. Not worth taking a chance IMO. Buy something else.

Don’t waste your money
I’d give 0 stars if I could. Don’t waste your money. Every alert was ridiculous. If it saw a dog, there was a monkey eating on a table. If it saw a moth, there was a person in a chair. If there was a car driving past, there was a person setting down a white bag. I even got notifications that there was a person when nothing moved. Within a week (literally 6 days), the camera had glitched and I couldn’t see anything but a pink block.

Terrible support, decent camera; I was double charged.
Decent camera, terrible support via A.I. and no phone number to call to get help. I purchased a camera and enjoyed it’s ease of setup and use so much that I purchased a second camera. While adding the second camera, I inadvertently didn’t add the camera to my first account and was charged an extra $69.99/yr for the second camera. I corrected my mistake, canceled the second camera and asked for a refund via their email. It’s been several days and I haven’t heard from their “so-called” support. So, it looks like I’m out $69.99. If I’d known this was going to be an issue, I wouldn’t have purchased the first one.

Not worth the money
Purchased the item September 5th. It never rotated from side to side but would straight ahead. 2 weeks ago, I could move the camera to check the right side of my porch. The next morning I checked the camera and discovered the ball section was hanging down by a wire. I unscrewed it from the light socket and as I was looking at it, a small screw fell out of the round ball. Can’t fix it and it’s pass time to return it.
