The TV was purchased during summer Prime Days (2024) to be hung in a dining room. The picture quality is EXCELLENT. Fire TV is easy to set up and navigate. Very pleased with it.

Audio Turns On Itself in Middle of the Night
I was really excited to get this TV which was replacing a very old non-smart Toshiba TV. I thought since Amazon made the fire stick which I had already added to a second TV, I’d be really happy. Long story short, I couldn’t deal with this TV’s audio coming on by itself (with TV turned off) particularly on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and randomly in the middle of the night. No, I hadn’t made any setting changes and did not have any timers set. You actually had to turn the TV on in order to turn the audio off. I contacted Amazon and the rep told me something was really wrong and offered a replacement. I took the offer but the replacement wasn’t to arrive for 10 days and in the meantime, they would turn off the TV to be returned on their end making it non-usable. Wasn’t happy about this but complied because I had to package the return and wanted the box from the replacement to send back the original unit. Got the new unit, set it up and the very first night, the audio went on in the middle of the night. Called Amazon and was transferred several times to get to a TV team. Said they never heard of this problem before and would brainstorm and call me back with a potential fix. I waited two weeks and they never called back which is the first time I’ve experienced such terrible service from Amazon. Meanwhile the same problem kept recurring. The only way to prevent the problem was to unplug the TV every night which got old fast. Returned it to Amazon after purchasing a new LG TV and used that box to return the Amazon TV. The experience was totally disappointing and I feel like Amazon is hurting itself selling so much inferior quality stuff.

Solid tv. Great considering the price.
Overall this tv is hard to pass up. Unboxing and mounting was a breeze. Initial setup was great. I love having the DIRECTV built in, since the other tvs in my house all have DIRECTV sticks on them.Got this tv for my kids bedroom. They have had no issues watching various streaming services and gaming on it. It is intuitive to use when switching between inputs and such. I have watched it a few times and the picture is very clear and bright.At the price these sell for, it is hard to pass up this tv. The only thing I noticed a couple of times is that switching to 4k sports feeds during the Olympics seemed to bog down the tv a bit and the picture became slightly grainy. Not sure if it was the DIRECTV stream or the tv, but switching back to normal HD broadcast made the picture issues go away. I suspect that the processor inside the tv isn’t the best (which is why the price is low) but from what I can tell it works great for typical HD and gaming needs. True 4k sports might be a bit of a question mark, although I haven’t seen too many 4k broadcasts offered and I am not even sure my streaming service package includes much 4k content. So no harm no foul for me, but others may be different.

This refurbished unit was, I believe just repackaged as even the plastic screen protector was still on and the remote was still in its sealed bag.Quality is very good and sound quality is surprisingly good as well for these new TVs.Interface is very fast and WiFi connectivity is rock solid.

Great value, good pic and easy Fire interface
a) Arrived well packaged and complete. b) This looked to be brand new when taken out of the box. c) Excellent picture and sound ( can’ wait to hook up to powered speakers ) d) It takes a while to update the software and to set up, but once you do it is smooth sailing. I got this in July and it is a great value !
