A must in cold freezing weather
Works wonderful. I’m using it to control my chicken water from freezing. Kicks on at 38 and off at 50 just like advertised.

Put it in the freezer
It’s working so far. It did not work when I first plugged it in in the cold, but that was because I had brought it from inside and the circuitry was room temperature. I put it in the freezer for a few minutes and then plugged it in outdoors and it worked fine. You can’t just take it from indoors to the cold – it won’t work until it has time to get cold all the way through.

Works great with a heated water hose . Turns off the electric supply when temperature rises and turns on the electric supply when temperatures drop .

Mine did not work.
I bought this in April of this year and by the time it arrived, it was too warm to get any use out of it. Now that cold weather has arrived again, I finally plugged it in. It is down to 26 degrees in my garage but it still will not work. Of course it is too late for a refund so I will be forced to purchase a different brand.

Great for you vehicle plug in, bird bath warmers, waterpipe heat tapes and greenhouse supplementary heaters – just to name a few places I have used these. They are convenient for me as I don’t want to get up in the middle of the night when the temperature drops unexpectedly.

I don’t have to keep checking the temperature and adjust the heater as needed. I can rely on the gadget to do so for me now.

I tested the thermostatic controller in my garage. The ambient temperature was approx. -7 C. After allowing the controller to cycle several times, the controller would turn on at between 2.9 C and 3.2 C. It switched off at 6.4 C. The controller’s performance may be closer to the 3 C (on) and 10 C (off) under different test conditions; however, it appears to operate reliably.
