Mission Battery Base for HomePod Mini (White) (Make HomePod Portable)

I had a Homepod Mini in my bathroom to play music while I shower (this helps me from zoning out and taking too long of a shower) – yes, I realize I’m gambling the health of my mini by exposing it to the moisture of my bathroom…yes..I know..I’m the worst xD.If I could afford it, I’d have a speaker in every room, I listen to a lot of content throughout my day and my phone’s speaker sucks. The dream someday is to be able to bring it into my car as a backup, (my CarPlay system is old and doesn’t consistently work), however my car would have to have its own wifi (or I would have to have a portable hotspot that’s crazy strong).Enter the Mission Battery Base- I’d heard about this device years ago and only recently took the plunge.When it arrived, it wouldn’t charge. I found out through testing that the cord they provided with it was faulty. Rather than return it through amazon I took a chance and emailed the company directly- I thought it would be such a waste to return the entire device back to Jeff Bezos’ trash heap when I could just get a new cord.Mission support was soooo friendly and responsive- they got back to me right away and mailed out a replacement cord.I love this thing- I especially like being able to experiment with the placement of my homePod Mini within my environment, the acoustics are strange so I have to place the speaker in very specific places to get decent sound.TL;DR: Works as advertised, support is amazing, and it’s fun to place your Homepod mini in weird places. Do it!

Makes HomePod mini a portable Siri Buddy
I use my HomePod mini as a HomeHub, not just as a speaker. So I don’t want it leaving my home network. My apartment isn’t quite large enough to justify another HomePod mini but it is large enough that I can’t always here it when I’m in the furthest rooms. Using my Apple Watch and AirPods isn’t always the best solution. When I originally bought HomePod Mini, I thought I could carry it from room to room. That was disappointing. But the Mission Battery Base has filled in that gap. I can bring it in the bathroom in the morning to hear the news, in the kitchen while I’m cooking and back to the LivingRoom or bedroom when I’m hanging out. I can even place it near the front door when I’m not able to get to the door quickly so I can intercom to people to please come back or give me a little time to get to the door. It has made HomePod Mini the little follow around Siri Buddy I wanted it to be.I don’t take it out of the house so I’ve only used about an hour’s worth of battery. But if there is a power outage, I should still be able to connect to my door lock to get inside.Super easy to wind/store the cord inside the base. I was able to wind the extra external cord in there also.Great Device!

Not a bad Portable HomePod mini solution
Fairly easy to use. Price is reasonable. Better if the built-in battery could last a bit longer.

Got this so I could move my HomePod mini between home office and room and I love it!Power holds up through out the day and charges great!

Snygg design men svårt att se om den är påslagen , i passivt läge(avstängd ) laddar den ur på ett par dagar och behöver laddas igen

In der Wohnung steht eh in jedem Raum ein Pod. Aber in der Gartenlaube war es immer etwas schade, weil man im Beet, am Pool oder beim Feuer auch gerne Musik hat. Die Bluetooth Boxen waren bisher immer ein Kompromiss, aber ein nervender. Jetzt hat man den guten Sound immer dabei. Da mein WLAN den ganzen Garten abdeckt eine super Sache. Der Pod sitzt sauber und fest im Sattel. Überschüssige Kabel verschwinden unter dem Magnetdeckel am Boden.

Conforme aux promesses annoncées, un peu cher mais de bonne qualité.
