Strong and easy to use!
This dehumidifier has been on several projects at this point, and I’m honestly impressed on the amount of water it removes. It’s a solid machine and if I need another dehumidifier I know where I’m looking to buy.

Industrial Unit
This is a commercial grade device and appears to be well made. It is heavy and is a two person lift while in the packaging. Once you get the unit out of the box it has wheels and handles that make moving it easier. It is being utilized in a roughly 2200 square foot house to keep the RH below 50%. I found this unit to be effective in accomplishing this goal. Once this unit was set up and the instructions figured out it has been easy to use. I recommend this unit but be aware of a couple of things:1. Be aware of the note on the cover of the instructions that upon initial unpacking the unit must sit for 20 minutes before starting. I missed this and thought the unit was defective.2. I would like to be able to have the unit drain only when I manually drain it. I have not been able to determine how to set the unit to this configuration. I keep the drain hose in a bucket and the unit drains continuously instead of holding the water until I manually drain it. My plan is to only run the hose outside when the unit needs to be drained but that is not currently possible.The app is easy to use and setting the unit operational parameters are not difficult. The instructions are not well written and are somewhat hard to decipher.The unit is loud enough and generates some heat when running so you will want to place it in spot that will be away from where you normally reside.Overall I am pleased with this unit and it has made a noticeable difference in the comfort level in our house.

Dehumidifer work fine but customer service is terrible.
Dehumifier works fine but customer service with the company is terrible. I asked to get a copy of the warranty 3 times and never received it. I asked about ordering an optional vent and they said they would send it to me and I never received. I asked about how the fan was supposed to function (was it supposed to run all the time?) and never received a clear answer.

Absolute Beast of a Unit
This dehumidifier is no joke and packs a serious punch. The return ducts in my HVAC loop are cracked and suck in the hot humid attic air which makes my home very humid, and I needed a solution while I wait for the ducts to be repaired and this dehumidifier has been amazing. It is most definitely overkill for most people however it was able to significantly dry the air in my home, that being said though it outputs a ton of heat nearly raising the temperature of my home by 10 degrees, and consumes about 1300W (I used a kill-a-watt to measure). The interface is a little confusing on the unit however the app is super easy to use and set up and lets you control your dehumidifier from anywhere which is super convenient The pump on the unit works great and has quite a long drain hose, I had to drain to a sink that was up a few feet from the unit and it had no problem with that. If you are in need of a unit to dry water damaged areas or something powerful for very large spaces like garages or warehouses this would be great for you otherwise for your average homeowner I would advise just getting a quality noncommercial grade dehumidifier.

great Dehumifier
I have been running a portable dehumidifier in the garages for quite a few years. Living in New England we battle humidity and wet weather often. The smaller dehumidifiers fill up quickly and needed to be emptied multiple times a day. I ordered this unit hoping to get better results faster. While I wouldn’t exactly consider this unit to be compact considering the prior units I used were much smaller, It isn’t huge to the point where its difficult to place or move. Within the first 24 hours of running this the garage was dry and the air much less humid. About a week later we ended up with a water leak in the basement, in another garage, and we put this unit to the test. It drastically dried the location in a 12 hour period. We connected the drain hose and put it under the overhead garage door. It’s so nice not to have to chronically empty the unit. This is a great dehumidifier to have in any household or business. It does its job well. Love being able to have an app on my phone in which I can power the unit on or off and change settings.

Will dry out your basement quickly
Our basement has always been wet, but a couple of years ago it flooded and since then we’ve been battling a moldy odor that is getting worse. When we started this Mounto dehumidifier the first morning the humidity level was 90%, by that evening the humidity level was down to 50% and it’s been holding between 32 and 40 since. This dried the basement out fast, it feels totally different down there now, it smells better, it doesn’t feel damp, it’s made a huge difference. It has all these wireless capabilities and the majority of instructions have to do with downloading the app and setting it up etc. we didn’t and won’t bother with all of that, we just plugged it in and hit the power button. It’s already set up to work. It’s equipped with a pump to drain itself automatically when full and go right back to removing moisture from the air. We can’t be happier with our experience.

Feels like a different warehouse
I ordered this dehumidifier because I needed a large capacity unit for my warehouse. It is a little less than 3000 sq ft and this dehumidifier is doing the job. After just one day of running it, I felt the difference and even smelled the difference in the warehouse. There is no dampness. I do not run the unit continuously because the electric bill would be sky high. the price of the unit was steep, but it doing the job. I feel as if I definitely got my money’s worth.
