Works great on iPhone 15!
I bought a different device first that didn’t work. My phone would not recognize it at all. Returned that and got this one. Used the QR code to download the app. My phone instantly recognized it when I plugged it in. All I had to do was push the backup button and it started saving all photos and videos on my phone. It did this much faster than I had anticipated. Then just plug it into your computer and save everything where you want. So quick and easy! Way easier than downloading photos from cloud backups. I highly recommend using a device like this in addition to cloud storage. I lost of a lost of photos thanks to iCloud and will never let that happen again.

A very handy and easy iPhone photo Backup Drive with some limitations
I received the JD 128 Photo Stick for iPhone 15 as a gift and it works very well but, it has some limitations for me. I use an iPhone 15 Pro and take most of my photos in RAW format. This makes it easier to edit photos in Photoshop Elements after I transfer them to my PC. I was very surprised to see that after backing up photos, all images that were taken in RAW format and recorded as .DNG files instead of .JPG, show up in color when I look at the drive in File Explorer but when I try to open an individual .DNG image, all I get is a black screen. That black image also takes up a bit over 2.4 MB of space on the drive. All photos taken in .JPG format view just fine.I found also that a few images taken as .HEIC (Apple High Efficiency) format or in LIVE (LVIC) format (1.5 seconds of video before and after a .JPG image) did copy to this drive but I could not view them as I try never to use those formats and do not have a file converter for those types of files on my PC. Suggest you study the detailed description from the manufacturer prior to purchase.Therefore, This drive will not be much help to me as a photo back-up device. I use other backup methods so I am not in fear of losing my images. However, I would heartily recommend the JD Drive to anyone who only takes photos in .JPG (Most Compatible) format and using a PC. It is a great way to easily ensure that all your photos are kept safe in the event of a catastrophic problem or loss of your iPhone. I have not tried to back up contacts or other files yet and will add to this review once I have tried additional backups.

Most useless product I think I’ve ever bought
Awful. Wish I could get my money back, what a waste. The direction booklet is useless. So tiny you cannot see it AT ALL. WAY, WAY, WAY, too complicated to use, and I’m tech savvy! They even acknowledge the direction booklet is too small and divert you to go to a “website” on You tube, which is actually an ad! Other you tube videos are completely lacking in discernable directions and most are non-native speaking.There are many ways to move photos, better than this multistep mish mash. If you need giant storage buy one, but you’ll never figure out how to transfer anything!

Great little back-up flash drive but a bit expensive.
Arrived quickly from the US to regional NSW – dispatch and delivery from Amazon never ceases to amaze me. The Multiport-Photo-Stick-Backup-Flash-Drive has a very large capacity at 512GB. The automated backup software had to be downloaded as an app to my devices. Backing up the iPhone pics was simple. The duplicates were easy to identify but had to be manually deleted one by one. The software was not compatible with my older Microsoft surface pro. The best feature it the ability to clear my phone of pics and select what to load back onto the phone from the flash drive. At AUS$160 it is over-priced.

It really works!
After trying several other methods to get photos off an iPhone and onto a Laptop running Windows 11. Since W11 doesn’t support Bluetooth, it’s been frustrating getting over 500 pics and 75 videos off the phone and onto the laptop. I’ve tried USB cables, adapters to no avail. After researching all the memory stick options I took a chance on this stick. I was a little we worried as my partner had to download an app for his iPhone and me for my Android phone. The downloads were simple and fast. Imagine my surprise when the transfer went smoothly and quickly. Likewise transferring the data to the laptop. Well done.Another note – the packaging is great and the metal construction feels substantial and rugged. I highly rate this photo stick.
