Superior Mesh Wifi System
This is the third Orbi system that I have put into service at multiple locations and all 3 times the units have performed well, gave good coverage and run without any issues for many years. My original Orbi system that I put into service in early 2018 is still running and the other two 2023 and recently put into service in 2025 all run flawlessly. In my opinion, they are the best solution for ease in installation and use.

Excellent product! The Orbi mesh system is the way to go! We use this system in all of our properties and our residence as well. Great accompanying app that will let you control the system remotely. Excellent speed and coverage throughout the homes! Setup is a breeze. My only issue is that Arlo Cameras Pro5 and above do not function with this system as there is no way to isolate the 2.5ghz from 5ghz bands, but that’s more of an Arlo problem. Would highly recommend this system to anyone!

Best home Wi-Fi I’ve ever had
I have been truly amazed by my three unit, Orbi RBK763S system. Setup was super easy, I just turned off the Wi-Fi in my cable modem’s router and plugged in the Orbi – other than giving it a network name and password it configured itself and the two satellites auto connected. The main unit and each of the satellites are separated by about 50 feet each in a straight line as my home is very long and narrow as is my large yard, and I now have super fast Wi-Fi throughout the entire place. Even at the corners of my property I can pull over 200Mbps so the coverage is outstanding. I always pick a very secure password, which is a good thing because I’ve been in the neighbor’s yards surrounding mine and even inside their home I was still able to connect and get sufficient bandwidth to run a speed test. If you’re looking for easy, efficient setup and a signal that will blow the doors off, this is definitely the system for you. The app was easy to use; others have mentioned the negative aspect of having to pay for a subscription for parental controls or their special security app, but I don’t use either option so the basic app does more than what I need for setup and configuration. Definitely a great value for the money; I actually got this as an Amazon Renewed item, but having seen how powerful this is, I would not hesitate to pay full price if I needed another system in another location.

Actually does what it advertised.
Work as advertised. My WiFi speed has improved significantly going from an average 150mbps on my phone and 220 on my sons ps5 now with this I get 500gbps on my phone and my son get 928 on his ps5. That’s on the finite xfigateway we pay for gig speed. I just ordered a new modem to add to it. I used to rely on a xfi router and 2 boosters so I could get signal past my garage to my camper and it easily does. I originally started with using the satellites over wifi but ended up connecting it all with Ethernet because I already have cat 8 ran. With this set up I’m not using the same high speed wifi network across my entire property instead of switching between router and boosters. Unlike with boosters where ur speed decreases due to being extended with this it’s mesh so you continue to get the full capability of internet that you would on the actual router as you do on the satellites

Netgear Armor big fail
I bought a refurbished set. The hardware has worked as it should. The software is a different story. There is the Orbi app that is only configurable through your android or iPhone device. You can’t completely manage through a PC. This is disappointing. The Netgear Armor app which provides additional protection at the device level works fine on my phone but creates connection issues on my PC. I received “connection closed” messages on Facebook, Messenger, and various other websites. I was unable to perform searches. I was unable to log into the Netgear website. I opened a support request with Netgear and the techs did not seem to understand my issue. They kept asking for a screen shot of the blocked websites page in the Orbi app. There were no sites listed, but I repeated the message I received to no avail. I even did a factory reset on the router and reconfigured my entire network and reset my modem. Finally I was requested to download and install a remote access app so they could access and diagnose my issue. I couldn’t download the software. Once I removed Netgear Armor, my access was restored.

Best Wireless System I’ve owned
Works great, and the satellites really extend the range for the whole 3,200 sf house. The phone app has lots of helpful features and is easy to use. Would definitely buy again.

Bad product and horrible customer service
I had this Orbi system less than 2 years and I am frustrated. Everytime an upgrade happens, my mesh network crashes. I work from home so my wifi is important. Just the pat month, I have been “hotspotting” from my cell phone. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
