Quick replacement at resonable cost
Huge improvement over the old digital Honeywell it replaced. A larger unit with a pleasant blue backlight and easy to read for us with fading eyesight. My handy 17 year old installed under my supervision with minimal input from me. Controls a natural gas central furnace with air conditioning with no issue. There is a switch on the rear of the top control to choose gas or electric heat. Installation was direct and straightforward. simply uninstall the old unit, mount the new base, connect the 4 color-coded lines to the proper terminals, select gas or electric heat, mount top pf unit to base, go to breaker box and turn power back on to the heat and ac systems, return to the thermostat, and in our case turn the heat on and set the desired temperature.

Good value for the money. I’ve had the thermostat for about 2 weeks. Feels sturdy, and appears to reflect accurate temperature readings. Easy to read panel with large numbers. Easy set up.

Delay setting is backwards
We could not get the compressor delay to work. We kept programming it to be “on”. Finally, in a desperate attempt, we programmed the delay to “off” and then it worked fine.
