Great air fryer — the glass basket completely won me over
I was a bit skeptical at first because I had never used an air fryer with a glass basket before, but after using this Nutrichef air fryer, I’m honestly impressed. It heats up quickly, cooks food evenly, and gives everything a crispy texture without needing much oil. I’ve used it for fries, chicken, veggies, and reheating leftovers, and everything comes out delicious. The glass basket ended up being my favorite feature. It feels safer and more hygienic than traditional non-glass baskets, and I really like being able to see the food as it cooks without opening the fryer. It gives me peace of mind knowing the food isn’t in direct contact with coated surfaces. The controls are simple and easy to use, cleanup is straightforward, and it doesn’t take up too much counter space. Overall, this air fryer exceeded my expectations and feels like a higher-quality option compared to others I’ve tried. I would definitely recommend it.

Great Air Fryer, Just Know the Basket Is Heavy!
I originally got this because I wanted a more nontoxic option without a bunch of plastic heating up, so the glass bowl on this one really sold me! And honestly, it’s been great so far. It’s quiet, heats up quickly, and cooks food really evenly. I love being able to peek through the side without opening it which is super helpful when I’m juggling the baby and dinner at the same time. Cleanup is easy and it doesn’t hog counter space. The only thing that surprised me is how heavy the basket is!Pros:- Glass bowl which means much less plastic getting hot- Very quiet (nap-time safe)- Fast heating and even cooking- Easy to clean- Doesn’t take up much counter space- Really easy to use- Good value for moneyCons:- The basket is heavier than expected, especially when hot- No pre-heat setting- Only goes up to 390Overall, I genuinely like it. The glass bowl alone makes me feel better about using it, and it works really well. Even with the heavy basket, I’d still buy it again because the performance and the lower-tox option make it worth it!

Very nice little air fryer!
Cooks well, easy to operate. Cleaning is a breeze the glass container and the stainless grate is very easy to clean. The size is awesome for small spaces. No more coating rubbing off, I love this one. You can see what you’re cooking as it cooks.

Quiet fast and no Teflon!
Glass and no Teflon! It’s quiet and fast. It’s easy to wash.. easier than Teflon! Great healthy alternative. It’s big enough to bake a lot of food yet the whole apparatus takes up little space on my counter. Did I mention it’s quiet? Only downside for some people might be the glass basket is heavy but I prefer that over Teflon.

Great Air Fryer with a Few Limitations
This air fryer has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. The basket is large enough to fit family-sized portions, and it cooks evenly without needing much oil. I’ve made everything from chicken wings to roasted vegetables, and the results come out crispy and delicious every time. The controls are straightforward, and cleanup is surprisingly easy. That said, I did notice two drawbacks: the max temperature is 390°F instead of 400°F, and I haven’t been able to find a dedicated preheat button, which some recipes call for. Neither issue has stopped me from enjoying it daily, but it’s worth mentioning.Overall, it’s an excellent value for the size, performance, and results, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to simplify cooking at home.

Get this one for if you’re avoiding nonstick coating
I’d bought another glass air fryer from nutrichef, it was a different type, the one where you pull off the top. It lasted maybe a year before it finally stopped working for whatever reason. It seems they stopped making that version because I couldn’t find it again.I like that my food isn’t touching the non stick that releases those forever chemicals and xenoestrogens so I got this one since it seems like an upgrade from the last one. I love it so much. I did notice like others that the glass is heavy but I usually don’t fully take it out until it’s time to clean. I have to say this is the easiest air fryer I’ve ever had to clean. I don’t have a dishwasher right now so that is actually extremely valuable to me. It’s well worth the money. It’s a bit on the smaller side, I have to make things in batches if I’m making a lot but I don’t mind that. I love the little pictures of food that allow you to take the guessing out of how long to cook certain things. I’m like 5 air fryers in so I have a bit of know how but for my family who isn’t as well versed it’s an amazing feature. I noticed no smell at all upon first use. I just love it. It has the standard kind of air fryer style as opposed to the previous one I had from the same company so I’m hoping this lasts a while but so far so good. I think it’s been about 3 months and the quality has not deteriorated at all. If you’re looking for one without the nonstick coating to reduce exposure to those chemicals that get released, this is definitely the one to get.

Excellent Quality and Easy to Use
I was looking for a glass air fryer and got the Nutrichef based on other positive reviews. So far I’ve used it to cook frozen French fries, shrimp (which I thawed in the refrigerator before cooking), and chicken wings (Tyson frozen barbecue wings). For the shrimp I used the preset button (turning them halfway through cooking). They turned out perfectly— much better than expected. The fries were perfectly cooked (followed directions on the packaging), and the wings were crispy (followed directions on the packaging). The glass pot is of good quality and very easy to wash, as well as the metal grid. It comes with a rubber pad to protect your countertop. Highly recommend this air fryer!

This is my first air-fryer, but I am very impressed with this model. I’ve been using it almost every day since I got it two weeks ago.Like other reviewers have said, it is very easy to clean. The glass bowl, after letting it cool for 10 minutes, can be filled with some soapy water and left to soak for a half hour, and then everything comes clean with a quick swipe with a scrub sponge. The metal bottom grate can also be left to soak, and then it takes a few minutes with an old toothbrush under running water to get anything remaining. It is nice to start the next meal with a completely spotless appliance inside and out, and this design makes it easy. The bowl is a good size, thick and bit heavy. It does have a decent handle that doesn’t get too hot. If you are old, or have young ones that might want to use this, it may be a factor. You wouldn’t want to lose control of it when it’s hot. It can nicely fit two chicken breasts and maybe a couple potatoes sliced into wedges (coat them with some oil first). You could maybe fit a small whole chicken in there, I haven’t tried yet, but it would be a little bit close to the top and I’m not sure if air would circulate enough. This is great for two people. It is good that there is no Teflon in this unit. The bottom grate is stainless steel with no coating of any kind, and it seems very durable. The top fan and heating element is protected by another stainless steel grate, but it doesn’t seem to get dirty or anything. The touch controls work great. There is a top row of presets, but I just manually set the temperature and time using the bottom row. It is relatively intuitive, I didn’t read the manual. The cooking performance is very good. The max temperature is 390 degrees Fahrenheit. It heats up relatively fast, but if you have too much food or it’s frozen, it might take a little longer. The fan is quiet but does seem to achieve adequate airflow, as long as you don’t jam too much stuff into the bowl. It does a great job on chicken parts, sliced potato wedges, carrot slices, baked potatoes, and dessert buns.I did a lot of research into the other options before ordering this one. There are other glass bowl air fryers, but there are key differences you should keep in mind when deciding. On competing glass bowl fryers, notice that you have to lift off the top unit and place it somewhere while you see what’s going on in the bowl or take your food out. With this unit, you are removing the bowl from the cooking unit, and placing it on an included silicone mat to protect your countertop from the heat. I think this is the better option. This is a nice heavy duty unit, and better that it stays in place and not have to be moved and risk the electrical cord getting onto other food or whatever is around. One of the competing units has in a review that moving the top unit while it is hot tends to lead to breakdowns. The only minor problem is that the switch that detects the bowl’s presence, which is at the bottom center of the unit, can be a little tricky. You have to make sure you have the bowl nice and centered, so that the top seal is where it needs to be.I was tempted to buy one of those oven-style air fryers that have doors and racks. I am glad I didn’t. This one seems like it should be more reliable in the long term because there’s no hinges or other moving parts to break. And the inside of one of those little ovens can be cleaned, but not as completely as this simple glass bowl.
