Extend HDMI Up to 4K@60Hz HDR or Non-HDR: Transmit video signals up to 230 feet (70 meters) over a single Cat6/Cat7 Ethernet cable. The device comes with a dual-voltage power supply using a US plug, plus an adapter/converter for international use.
Full HDMI & Audio Support: HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2/1.4, and DVI 1.0 compliant. Supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:2:2, 2K@60Hz. Audio formats include LPCM, Dolby Digital/Plus/EX, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, DTS-EX, DTS-96/24, DTS High Res, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DSD.
Power Over Cable (POC): Only the receiver unit requires connection to power; the transmitter receives power automatically through the Ethernet cable. Reduces cable clutter and simplifies installation.

Great to extend over ethernet
I used this to tie into an existing ethernet cable and extend a display to my closet for my security system. It’s really great quality and was easy to set up. Pretty much plug and play. If you are in a similar scenario, I can’t recommend this enough.

Easy To Set Up
Overall, I am pleased with this HDMI transmitter/receiver.The cable that went to the TV in our bedroom was needing to be replaced as it was getting static.This was no easy job and I have been putting it off for some time.I saw this system and knew i had to give it a try.Installing the outlet was simple.It was easy to set up and the audio and video signal are perfectly clear with no lag between the two.We have been using it for a month now and have not had to touch it since installation, even when the power goes out it reconnects immediately.This was a great solution for us and I am glad i came across it.5 STARS

Great HDMI extension
I wanted to add a monitor output from my security system to the other size of my house and this system worked great. I just ran the cat cable and hooked up this system and it worked as expected. I haven’t used the USB port.

Gets hot during use
This hdmi extender by Orei comes well packaged. Everything was properly in place and protected. This hdmi extender comes with everything that you need, except for the ethernet and HDMI cables. The power supply needs the included plug adapter to use on US outlets. It also comes with IR blaster.The user manual is actually useful to an extent- it points out key ports and features and it is brief and informative. The manual lacks actual install instructions, but does provide helpful diagrams for a few possible set ups. The receiver box gets noticeably hot when in use. It is actually very concerning how hot this gets. I tested this with 75ft Ethernet, Macbook Pro, and ASUS monitor at 1080p. This extender was able to carry audio and video to monitor with ease. Overall, good quality and works well, other than it getting so hot during use.

Impressive distance and easy setup
This works well for extending HDMI over a long distance. The video quality isn’t affected, even at about two hundred feet. It was easy to install, and the instructions were easy to follow. The included IR control makes it easier to control. The power over cable ability is surprising, so the transmitter receives its power through the Ethernet cable and doesn’t have to be directly plugged in.

This is easy to install – you can have it done in almost no time without any particular special skills. Other than that, it functions as you would expect. OREI usually makes a great product and this wall plate is a great product.
