Why isn’t the power button at least lighting up
UPDATE: apparently, it wasn’t the new cord! Bc, there were so many damn cords and it had recently snowed. Even, though I had reck’d the cords and replugged all the cords back in…something still wasn’t connected properly ! 🤦🏽♀️. USER ERROR🤪🙆🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤣🤦🏽♀️. I couldn’t tell what was connected properly and what wasn’t d/t the snow and cold! I had disconnected multiple cords to install the new power plug…things got all messed up. The cord is now working just fine. So, YES, I would buy this again if needed. My apologies to the makers and any potential buyers for my prior review!😔Got this yesterday & I’m not sure if this is a dud or if It might nd to be returned! 😩🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I programmed it while indoors, then took it outside and plugged it in. It worked when it was inside (lit up, flashed, setup) but, once plugged in outside, it didn’t light up anymore nor would all of my Xmas lights come on. So, today, I went outside to rearrange the cords to see if I connected it wrong. Connectivity is the whole point! I retested the power button but, still nothing! (No light, blinking, etc.. So, I’ll wait for tonight and see if it’s going to work or not and if not, then I’m going to have to return it bc, I’ve no idea if the damn thing is on/off, connected or otherwise. But, the app says it’s offline! I’ll update y’all later, but right now I’m very disappointed bc, I’d been waiting for this to come in. It was an easy enough set up at first but, now; I’m not so sure! I’ve other smart plugs and I’ve used the same method to set them up and never had an issue, until now!

Wonderful Wireless Outdoor Power Receptacle
This durable, outdoor, Wi-Fi controlled receptacle has three, thoughtfully spread-out sockets providing ample room for even the bulkiest outdoor plugs. It’s fully “plug and play.” It has excellent wireless reception and paired easily with our indoor Wi-Fi. We live in “hurricane alley” with foot thick exterior walls of solid, steel reinforced concrete. The unit was placed about 30′ outside and maintains a stable Wi-Fi connection. It is designed to weather high humidity, rain and snow making it ideal for outdoor uses around pools, irrigation systems and in inclement weather. Just download a FREE app like Smart Life or Google Home. It can even respond to Alexa and Google commands. In fact, I got a notification when I plugged it in that it had been added to Alexa. Set up was easy. Just open a smart home app, name it and train it! One tip: when you are adding this device and have given it a “name”, plug in the unit and hold the power button down until the LED light starts blinking quickly. Release the button and your app should find and connect to it quickly. I had absolutely no problems adding the device and selecting a “dusk-to-dawn” power setting or entering individual day scheduling. 5 STARS! Works well. Great price too.

Easy to connect to WiFi. Works as described. NOTE: All outlets are on a single timer. NOT separate. So if you are looking for a WiFi multi plug with separate timers for each outlet, this outdoor multi outlet is Not for you.

The receptacles are not individually controllable
I would have given 5 stars if each outlet was controllable separately. The only way to operate on/off is with all three receptacles. The timer function is great and adjustable down to the minute. I tested it by setting the timers so the lights would alternate on/off every minute. It worked without fail. Set up was slightly confusing at first, but the instruction manual helped out. Great Product and I will recommend to everyone I know.

Stops working
I bought it in January and installed it in April. It worked fine initially and loved the convenience. After a few days it stopped working and we reinstalled it. Now it turns on the lights randomly, sometimes in the middle of the day, numerous times. We have checked the APP and random option is not open. So after working on it for a few days, I have decided to remove it and alas the return window is closed.

EASIEST SET UP EVER!I already had the SmartLife app, because i use it for other plugs like this.All i had to do was hold down the button on the plug, let the app find it and name it. Done – Highly recommend!I will be buying more (cause Halloween doesn’t run wirelessly ;))
