Works well…
We have a large family & there is a lot of activity in our home, so things can be loud at times with lots of chatter, cooking, etc.. We have critters outside that need tending to & there have been times we have been accidentally locked in our coop.I was trying to think of a way for each family member to be able to alert the whole family that there is an issue that needs URGENT attention… someone is locked in the coop or outside accidentally, a smoke alarm is going off, someone is hurt, etc. I saw this alarm & thought it would work well for our needs.The siren is mounted upstairs in our home, which gives it the most bang for the buck, as far as being able to be heard by all of us. The volume is adjustable, which is FABULOUS!When first using the alarm you have to sync the alarm itself with the alarm buttons, which is very easy. Turn the alarm on & press the alarm button. VERY easy!I LOVE that this can be expanded with more alarm buttons, so that was we can add one for the basement, bathrooms, etc. in case of a slip, fall, etc.Everyone can hear this alarm with ease. The adjustable alarm tone can be turned down low too, in case your needs are not for a blaring alarm like we need in our family.The alarm can be charged or powered with 3 AAA batteries. LOVE the back up power source so we are not left without the alarm. The alarm button pads are powdered by button cell batteries, which are easy to replace & can be purchased at a local $1 store.This is a great safety feature for our family & I am glad we have it.I WOULD purchase it again!

Too Small and Light is not very visible.
I ordered this item for my sister. It’s cute, maybe a little too small. The alarm is loud enough and comes with 3 different modes, however, the light is hardly noticeable in the daylight.

I wasn’t expecting it to be this loud. Awesome!You can adjust it with a step button. Several options for mounting including a swivel bracket for wall mount or as a tabletop kick stand. Touch remotes. All worked right out of the box 👍👍

Not re-chargeable
This product seems to work well. Just to clear up any confusion that may be caused by the phrase “DC charging” in the description, the unit is not rechargeable. All pieces run on batteries, and if the siren unit is near an outlet it can also be plugged in using the provided power cord to USB connection.

I bought it as a back up if my electricity goes out. Its not the loudest siren but loud enough for neighbors to hear or startle an uninvited person to leave.

Unit stopped working a month after purchase. It soon stopped paring with the remotes essentially making the unit useless. (Installation was done exactly as described in instruction booklet). If reliability in an alarm is something you are counting on, this is not the unit for you. Cheaply made with unreliable electronics; it’s a waste of money.
