Very good alarm system
Very easy to setup. I used to be using Fortress, however it went out of business. I turned to this one, to my surprise, I took a couple of minutes to o finish the setup, since I already have Smart Life App in my phone.it works well with my WiFi, I can receive the alarm notification right away. I’m very satisfied with it.

Needs firm ware upgrade so everything only set the alarm off when armed
Not a bad system my only complaint is that even with the system disarmed it will still go off everytime you open a door if there was a setting to just have it go off only when it’s armed I would give it 5 starsAfter playing with the app more I got it figured out there is some work the system it self needs before it’s shipped and that is to label the sensors to what is already in the system when setting it up I had entered in what number I wanted the sensor but when I placed them as i numbered them it was all different so i had to figure out what one was there so i could name them on the app. I would also like to see in the app what sensor was triggered so you know what door or window set the alarm off other than that a great unit.

No door chime, bad menu function
This system does not have a door chime. It will not alert you if a door or window is opened while unarmed. If the system is armed while home, and a door sensor is triggered, the system will alarm, the same as, armed while away. The keypad doesn’t work well sometimes requiring hard or multiple pressing. Accessing the menu is difficult, requiring the use of forward & backward arrow keys to navigate. Alarm panel cannot be in plain sight because it is easy to defeat, can just be switched off.

Needs a few “features” refined or removed
This system is alright for something that does not require a subscription. One of the things I don’t like however are the poor english translations on the device as well as the Tuya app. The motion sensors that come with it are SUPER sensitive. Would set off the alarm when my cat walked through the living room. I’ve never had a motion sensor be that sensitive to cause all these false alarms. I eneded up removing all of the motion sensors from the device and stuck with the door sensors instead. A little tip for the designer: include a POT knob on the motion sensors so you can adjust the sensitivity. The keypad is a little rough too. When you set a code, as soon as you start typing it in, it doesnt respond to button presses until the voice stops talking. and even then you have to press the numbers really hard to get it to respond. In doing so, you risk setting off the anti tamper alarm which is a pain in itself. The overall quality is okay but could stand to use a few more refinements. I would also suggest removing the SOS feature. That is more of an annoyance than anything especially if you have the keychain remote and you accidentally hit it.
