EXACTLY like the old incandescent bulbs. None of the nasty “Hospital White” lights.
Finally, the LED bulb made for me. Tried this bulb out and ended up buying 18 of them to replace all my old power hungry bulbs around the house. I tried out LED bulbs years ago and ended up returning all of them. These bulbs dims perfectly with my older Lutron dimmers and Insteon dimmers with no buzzing sound. The color is “EXACTLY” like my old orange glow incandescent bulbs, just much much brighter now. These LED bulbs has an orange warm glow to them instead of the nasty hospital white that even some other of the advertised 2700K LED bulbs. These bulbs are so much brighter and they can be on for hours and I can touch them no problem. I mean it is cool enough for my 3 year old son to touch. No heat whatsoever.I have a huge chandelier on my high ceiling (19 ft) that had 12, 100 watts each bulbs in them (builder put in when we built the house 10 years ago) that we were using every day for years.Do the math 12 x 100 watts = 1200 watts. Now 12 LED x 9.5 = “114 watts” that is twice as bright and still gives off warm light with virtually no heat.Love love these LED bulbs. Buy these and the energy you save will pay for them in about 18 months and they really last 20 years. Again, I can’t stress enough how awesome they are. I promise, non of the nasty “HOSPITAL WHITE” lights from these bulbs. I include a photo to show you folks how warm glow these are.

WOW! They look just like incandescent when they dim!
WOW! There’s lots of great LED bulbs out there now, but these do something exciting. The bulbs we’re used to (incandescent) actually change color (much more yellow) when they’re dimmed far down. That means even though CFL and LED bulbs have become far more dimmable than in the past they look whiter than we would expect at low levels because their color stays the same no matter what level you dim them to. These are 2700K bulbs so like any of their 2700K competition they are indistinguishable from incandescent bulbs at full brightness. WHAT’S EXCITING ABOUT THESE BULBS is that their color changes when you dim them down so they LOOK EXACTLY LIKE incandescents when dimmed down very low. I know it says it in the description, but I didn’t really believe it until I saw it. I don’t know how they do it, but I would use these bulbs anywhere you want bulbs that look and feel like incandescents at all brightness levels. They also don’t flicker when dimmed to their minimum either which my other LED’s do. I paired them with this dimmer: Lutron DVCL-153P-WH Diva Dimmable CFL/LED Dimmer (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004DZOMKC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Best LED bulbs for home use!
I waited for warmer white LED bulbs that were dimmable. It was well worth the wait. I love these Phillips A19 style bulbs. The difference in wattage 9.5 vs. 60, dimmable, and long lifespan are amazing. What sets these particular bulbs apart is the color range. Most LED bulbs are cool (blue) white, like daylight – not what I want at home, as they adversely affect sleep. But, these Phillips bulbs are very different, they are a warmer (orange-yellow) color, similar to incandescent bulbs. I bought 8 and they are best bulbs ever. Most are installed in ceiling fans, four of which are dimmable. They all work perfectly. I like them so much that I am ordering more. That is about the best endorsement, highly recommend.

    Amazing, but not quite perfect.
These are by far the best dimmable LED bulbs I’ve tried, but still not entirely perfect.I compared one to an incandescent in the same fixture, and Philips did an amazing job with the warming of the color. At fully dimmed, it was identical to the incandescent bulb I left in the fixture for comparison, really incredible. However, the dimming is no longer linear, so you can’t mix with regular bulbs and get the same brightness through the dimming range. With these LEDs most of the dimming occurs in the top 1/3 of the slider of my Leviton dimmer, the next 3rd does pretty much nothing and then there is another noticeable drop in light output when fully dimmed. There is a slight delay before it dims as well. It’s not really a problem, but there is room for improvement in the calibration.I also tested one in my nightstand touch lamp, and it only put out a dim light, with very minor level changes between the 3 settings. In fact, the brightest setting of the lamp was the dimmest of the bulb. Not sure when anyone will make an LED compatible with a touch lamp, but they aren’t on enough to worry about it, until they stop making filament bulbs.Lastly, there is a very slight audible buzzing from these when you first dim them. It seems to less as they warm up, but if you really listen for it, you can hear it. Not enough to bother me, but if it’s going to be close to your head, like a nightstand, it could be a problem.

    Light like no other!
These light bulbs emit THE best quality light!! It’s clean and clear without a noticeable flicker like some LEDS. They’re super hard to find. So, of you’re reading this and thinking of purchasing, don’t mess around looking at other lights. Just buy them. Your time is valuable and, trust me, you’ll be glad you did!!

I’m extremely satisfied with these bulbs. I’ve tried many dimmable LED bulbs over the years, and I have no complaints about these. They don’t buzz or flicker and the dimming is very controlled. Terrific value and quality. I’d buy again for certain.
