Item does exactly what it says it does…. it’s loud with good range between switch and siren.. only con is that the siren needs to be plugged in.. so I had to make an extension to plug it in…. however I did know this because I read the description properly and other people’s comments aswell…… so 5 stars….does what it says very well

DO NOT GET THIS, not reliable and died after 1 month
I purchased this for the law firm I work for. The receptionist is in a different section of our office by herself and we wanted her to feel safe and have a panic button if she was scared. We tested the alarm set it up, it worked great and was very loud. Fast forward exactly a month later and she had an issue with a client, she pushed the button and nothing happened. Luckily one of the attorneys happened to be in the area and handled the situation. If this had been a real emergency the outcome could have been worse. We’ve not had to use the alarm at all so I am not sure why it didn’t work. If it’s a battery problem we CANT fix that because the batteries are glued in. I would give this a 0 starts if possible.

Not as loud as expected, but customer service made it right
I will tell my experience below, but the most important thing is that if you are not happy with the product, the company will take care of you, so there is no risk to try it and see if it works in your situation. That’s why I gave it 5-stars.We live in a remote area in Costa Rica. 911 exists, but the police are normally a half hour away unless they happen to be patrolling nearby. We live in a community with lots of space between neighbors. We tested the alarm and asked our neighbors if they heard anything. The closest neighbors who were home were about 1/2 kilometer away. I can hear their dogs every day when they are doing their dog thing, barking and protecting their home, so the neighbors should be able to hear an alarm that is supposed to be the same decibel level as a rock concert. My neighbors couldn’t hear it even though I messaged them and they went outside and tried to listen for it.

I’m revising my review, as the previous entry was left to hastily and was not so kind.It’s crazy loud, which is excellent!However, there is a tamper switch on the back, so that if its picked up or taken off the wall, the alarm will go off. The on/off switch is also on the back. So if you want to power it off before leaving for the day, you better make sure you have hearing protection or have the remote button nearby.I wanted something with no tamper switch and an on/off button on the side. The reason for this, is that i already have an alarm system. I wanted something that could be completely turned off when not is use or could accidentally go off for whatever reason when myself or my employees are not around.

Nella descrizione viene elencata la sostituibilità delle batterie. In realtà è fattibile solo per le batterie del telecomando (2 da 12 V, facilmente reperibili). L’apparecchio-sirena ha un attacco per alimentatore (come si vede nel filmato dimostrativo) ma l’alimentatore (e non si riesce a capire quale possa essere) non c’è come previsto nelle caratteristiche di vendita. Però le batterie della sirena non sono sostituibili in quanto sono in pacchetto sigillato e collegato con spinotto direttamente alla scheda elettronica.Il produttore risulta non contattabile direttamente.
