I had a problem with my first one, but tech was able to help me out. After a lot of figuring out, they couldn’t fix the problem, but gave me a replacement. So it worked out in the end.As for the vacuum, I really love it. Great product.

This little bot is quite good. I didn’t think that it would try to overcome such high obstacles (1 1/3 inch), but it did. As a matter of fact, it was quite entertaining 🤣🤣.

Not what I’d hoped
Updat: I decided to try to connect again because it was driving me nuts. After 30 minutes on the phone with tech support from my mesh provider, basically, if you have a network with half decent security, forget it. See attached image. Literally can’t even have a special character in your password if you want this thing to work to its full potential.First: the internet connectivity. We can’t connect ours. Period. We have a mesh network because the house is a fortress and basically a giant faraday cage. Without the network, you won’t have a signal 5 feet from the router. Well, this requires a 2.4GHz connection… Our network allows devices to connect seamless to both and I don’t have the ability to specify that one device connects only to the 2.4 band. There might be a way to reconfigure my network, but I’m not willing to research and do that right now.Second: suction. I have 2 poodles who don’t really shed, but every now and then, especially right now with change of seasons, we get a little fluff on the floor here and there. I have kids. The house is 100% hard floor. The goal was to have this run nightly and then I wouldn’t have to vacuum the entire downstairs daily… Well, unless you live in a magazine home, this won’t do that. For one, you can’t have a single cord loop on the floor. It will get caught and then hung up there. For two, it struggles around my dining room table. The edge clean is thorough, but touchy and definitely takes a long time because of how it moves around “obstacles” and/or walls. I have also noticed that in edge cleaning mode, it tends to just flick a lot of stuff into the other areas of the floor. While it definitely picks up SOME, it doesn’t pick up enough to do what I’d hoped – make it so I don’t have to vacuum daily. Now, if you don’t have kids, pets, or allergies that require you to keep dust and dirt under tight control, it might still be enough for you. For us, it’s like letting the 3 year old vacuum and then still having to follow up behind him.Third: It takes a long time to find the base, especially when it leaves the room the base is in. This means I have found it dead in another room twice out of the five times I’ve just let it run 100% on it’s own.Fourth: No-Go zones. It comes with magnetic strips you can use to block off areas you don’t want it to go. Well, the only real area I want it to stay out of is under the couch. It fits under there, and I would STRONGLY prefer to let it run under there and minimize the dust, but it just gets stranded in the cords we run under there. Those cords ARE bundled and tucked against the wall, but it still picks them up and then is stranded like an upside down turtle. I have no idea how to put the magnetic strips on my couch in a way that would work AND wouldn’t potentially ruin my fabric or require each cover to have their own set of strips.Overall, this is way pricey for the little it manages to do without constant supervision. It might have been easier with the app, but for now, I am NOT reconfiguring my network and every device for the robot vac. If the seller has a shortcut for that, it’s not in the included books, so I’m all ears.

I like this little vacuum. It picks up so much dog hair. I can vacuum w my larger vacuum and then set this one down and it will always find more dust and dog hair. Love it.

I am enjoying the Thamtu Robot Vacuum G10 Max (ASIN: B0BZ865J7W). I was skeptical, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how much this vacuum picks up and how little I have had to manage the situation.Setup was far easier than I expected. I did read the information that accompanied the vacuum and I did have to load a Thamtu app. on my smart phone. It was all very easy.I easily built a schedule in the Thamtu app. I scheduled my needs and it has run to program ever since. So now it starts at the pre-programed time and runs, vacuuming the house, until it is time to recharge the batteries. It finds the charging station on its own, docks, and recharges.Now my part is to empty the bin after each use. Each time I am still a little surprised at how much material is caught in the bin. This is a good time to test the unit, as it is late spring and my 85 lbs. dark grey pit bull is blowing out his winter coat. And this vacuum is doing a good job of gathering his hair, putting it in the bin, and keeping it out of my view.The Thamtu app tracks the usage and provides the details. For example, on my tile floors along with several throw rugs, it has run time of almost an hour each time. The vacuum detects the rugs and increases the vacuum power to deep clean them, thus using more energy, than if it was just on a hard, flat floor.The unit talks to me, which was unexpected. It tells me when it is finished vacuuming and needing to recharge, when it has finished charging, and several other statements. The volume and nature of the voice is adjustable in the app.To date the vacuum has never gotten stuck, even with it cleaning under the bed, night stands and dressers; places I cannot reach with my upright vacuum. But, in case it does not make it back to the charging station, the app has a Find My Robot button so that it will speak, aiding me in locating it.It appears a lot of thought has gone into this vacuum. I like that it often senses and avoids hitting walls, table legs, closed doors, etc. But if it does make contact, the impact is minimal, and the unit’s bumper absorbs most of it. There are several detection and safety features included, like the ability to avoid falling down stairs. The app also captures use and shares when consumables (like brushes) need to be replaced and when maintenance actions are expected. This is a very good robot vacuum for me!
