‘Pretty Smart Droid’ to say the least!
My Thamtu G10 droid is great! Let me introduce you to “G10-D1” (like the Star Wars astromech droid R2-D2). I named my G10 unit, because droids this good and smart deserve a name. I purchased my droid after searching for a cleaning bot to regularly rid of dust in my room. I am sensitive to dust, and it seems to follow me everywhere (I didn’t help that I worked with a ton of boxes at my warehouse jobs). I have a great Korean HEPA filter in my room too, but it’s not enough! One day, as I was searching for meds I had accidentally spilled ontomthe floor from their bottle, I noticed a ton of dust and my american pocket bully’s hair on my floor when I was crouched down with a flashlight in hand. That week, I hired G10-D1, and it has been doing mighty fine work! *Look at how shiny that floor is!*Probably my favorite feature of G10-D1 is its equipped wheels. Although some may be bothered by the sound of its tready wheel pattern on hard floors, especially those on floor levels greater than 1/ground-level, many would appreciate G-10’s superior stability, high-precision handling, and multi terrain maneuverability (hard-floors to carpet/rugs, vise-versa). I had to edit my review, because I thought that G10s were equipped with thick tank-like tracks by how G10-D1 sounded and appeared as it would clean. After inspecting it more thoroughly, what I believed were tracks were actually rather large wheels with grippy, pronounced treads. The quality and choice of wheels with G10’s fine motors grant it top notch precision.G10-D1’s sensors and computer are phenomenal; G10-D1 can recognize certain objects/obstacles such as my gaming/office chairs, my desk, and even a music stand; it will clean around and between their legs! G10-D1 is also cautious, so it slows down at times and never collides into walls/etc. too hard.I was unsure if I could trust my droid with assigning it scheduled cleanings without my supervision. This past weekend, I was out of town. G10-D1 began cleaning at its scheduled time, and I had forgotten that I left my doors open and scheduled it cleanings the night before. I opened my Thamtu application (YES, IT CAN BE REMOTELY COMMANDED VIA APP) to access my G-10 via Internet to prevent my droid from toppling over the stairs, but I was too late. The app told me that G10-D1 was immobile, and I sadly watched its battery deplete to zero over a day or two. When I returned home, to my surprise, a dormant G10 unit was not flipped over the stairs, but it was found under my dresser, caught on some sweatpants! It ran 19 min. before getting caught, so I wasn’t really sure if it was stair-proof. However, I left it running for 34 min. after returning from an early morning commute, and G10-D1 was still operational!I was also doubtful of how thorough G10-D1 was. Time to time, I’d toss some small crumbs onto the floor for it to clean. There was this one spot that wouldn’t dissappear, so I kept manually redirecting G10-D1 to sweep over it–but, it wouldn’t dissappear. I was disappointed. But to my surprise, when I reached down to finally rid of the mess myself, I discovered that I was looking at an imperfection on my wood floor and not a crumb! All of the crumbs that I had tossed down had been successfully vacuumed already!! 😅😂🤣 I trust my G10’s abilities a lot more now!For the money I paid, I was not expecting a machine this advanced and intelligent. Also, did I mention that it speaks both English and Chinese! I am a fan of Thamtu now! I wanted another cleaning bot that could mop, but I settled for an iHome AutoVac Eclipse G because it was a lot cheaper than the Thamtu’s G20 vacuuming/mopping bot. I haven’t even opened the AutoVac Eclipse G’s Amazon packaging yet, because of how great my Thamtu experience has been. Do I return my iHome bot for another Thamtu droid??? What a dilemma!! HELP ME, THAMTU!!! hahahahaIf you’re searching for a good vacuuming droid, definitely choose a G10 unit!! It’s not only outstanding, but being sold for a bargain!!!

Long story short: Worth it!
I am very impressed by this machine! I used to think these were a waste of money until I moved into a bigger place with mostly hard wood floors. In the winter time we were tracking in a lot of salt from the snow and I got tired of constantly sweeping and vacuuming so this really comes in handy. Less work for me and the suction is great! I have a kid that gets play doh crumbs on the floors and I don’t have pets but my own hair sheds like one and this thing is great at picking it all up. The pictures that I posted are after 2 or 3 uses on separate occasions. I am very impressed by what it picked up.It kind of goes it’s own way so I’m not sure of the exact pattern it does. I haven’t used the app yet so I’m not sure if this is something you can set or change. I usually just press the power button on the machine or remote. The machine calls out “start automatic cleaning.” When it starts, it does sort of a zig zag. It backs off of the charging hub then turns right and goes forward until it can’t anymore. Then it turns right again, moves over some, turns back to go back the way it came. After some time it just starts to do the edges and perimeter then it starts to go in random directions. I like that I can control which way it goes from the remote so if I don’t want it to go a certain direction or I want it to go back to a spot it missed then I can just press the arrows on the remote. Comes with magnets in case there’s an area of your space you want it to stay away from. I don’t really need them so I haven’t used them to know how well it works. It has a sensor to keep it from bumping into things but it doesn’t always sense when something is in front of it. Especially doors. I figured the sensors must be somewhere near the bottom because it bumps into anything that has a space underneath like bedroom doors and the refrigerator.Says it has up to 120min run time but mine has never gone over 80 minutes on a full battery which is still decent for me because it gets most of every room in my house in that time. When the battery is low, the lights turn red, it calls out “battery is low” (or something like that), then it makes its way back to the charging hub on its own. Sometimes has trouble finding it but eventually does.It gets under most of my furniture but I did replace the legs on my sectional just to give it some extra room. Every now and then it would get stuck in certain places under the couch. When it gets stuck on something it does call it out. If something is stuck underneath, like a sock or small toy, you can remove it and just press the power button for it to continue. It will get stuck on loose cords, small toys and things of such. It kicks in to higher power when it detects carpet. I have a 5’ x 7’ area rug and I have noticed that it doesn’t sense that it’s on the rug until it’s already halfway across it but it still does a good job.It is easy to empty and clean. Does come with an extra filter set but I just rinse and reuse them. Haven’t had to replace them yet. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality and price of this robot vacuum.

Wir versuchen, einen normalen Staubsauger zu benutzen, aber es ist leicht, dass man sich bei der täglichen Reinigung erschöpft. Dieser Reinigungsroboter hingegen entlastet die Hände enorm, und er reinigt alle Bereiche sehr sorgfältig, sauberer als ich es jemals selbst könnte. Außerdem ist er mit einem Schutzstreifen ausgestattet, der den Wassernapf des Haustieres gut abschirmt, so dass man nicht befürchten muss, ihn umzustoßen. Schalten Sie ihn ein, wenn Sie nachmittags mit dem Hund spazieren gehen, und Sie müssen nicht mehr den Boden putzen, wenn Sie nach Hause kommen. Nachdem ich das Gerät ein paar Tage lang benutzt habe, finde ich, dass es sehr gut funktioniert, vor allem, weil er sich mit der Handy-App verbinden und den Timer so einstellen kann, dass er funktioniert, was sehr praktisch ist. Natürlich gibt es eine Sache, mit der ich nicht so zufrieden bin, nämlich dass er etwas laut ist, was wahrscheinlich der Nachteil eines Hochleistungsstaubsaugers ist.

Bin schon länger auf der Suche nach einen Saugroboter gewesen. Mit diesem hab ich wohl einen guten Kauf gemacht.Der Roboter ist bei mir nun täglich im Einsatz und ist wirklich eine sehr große Hilfe. Die Einrichtung war sehr leicht und funktionierte auf Anhieb. Die App-Steuerung klappt ohne Probleme und ist super praktisch.Bei der Wischfunktion war ich anfangs etwas skeptisch, aber es klappt auch sehr gut. Die Akkulaufzeit ist mehr als ausreichend und Dank der Selbstaufladung muss man sich darüber sowieso keine Gedanken machen!Die Sturzsicherung, sowie die einstellbaren Passierverbotszonen funktionieren auch ohne Probleme. Ich nutze auch noch die Zeitsteuerung, so kann ich von der Arbeit heimkommen und die Wohnung ist bereits sauber.Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit meiner Investition und den Preis finde ich mehr als in Ordnung. Ich dachte nicht, dass dieses eher günstige Gerät schon so viel kann! Ist auf jeden Fall meiner Erfahrung nach eine Empfehlung Wert.
