Love the infrared convection and air fryer combination
Wow this is amazing and I love the crisper button which adds a few minutes to the cooking time. No preheat needed and so far everything has turned out very delicious. Don’t hesitate to purchase this. I love the fact that it’s infrared convection and air fryer all in one. I don’t understand why it doesn’t go above 400° when it says it could preheat to 750° but it doesn’t matter because it cooks the food perfectly.

This seems to have all the options I’ve been looking for in one. The touchscreen is easy to operate. All of the functions are clear and easy to use. I especially like the extra crispy option. And I can’t believe how quickly it heats up. The cooking drawer is more spacious than most. I was able to get double the amount of even, perfectly crispy in less time than my old air fryer. The finish makes it easy to clean and have ready for the next meal. The overall look is great. It was what originally attracted me to the product. It’s very sleek and clean with a small footprint. It can be left on the counter and look nice in the kitchen. But it’s also compact enough to store in a pantry. And of course I know it will last because it’s Tfal. Very impressed.

This is for the newer T-fal Infrared 2.0 Air Fryer, 8-in-1, Extra Large 7L / 7.3Qt., Infra-Heat, if your an experienced air fryer user, you will have to make a little more adjustments to your cooking, the infrared heater element works a little different from a conventional elements, it also has a bottom heater element, do a search infrared heating elements. The basket is huge at 10″ length. 9″ wide and 5″ height, the heating elements are 1800 watts, the absolute minimum on a air fryer for reasonable cooking is 1500 watts, 1700 watts and above is recommended, I recommend going larger air fryer than you need, its all about larger area for air circulation which will give you a faster more even cooking.When you receive this new air fryer, do the usual washing of the basket and then do the burn-in, meaning run the unit at full power to burn the factory chemical residue within the unit, I did the burn-in for 90 minutes, 3 bursts of 30 minutes, on the second round, put in a heat resistant cup or bowel containing vinegar, lemon juice and water, just vinegar is good if you don’t have lemon juice, this will help remove the chemical smell, I recommend you do the burn-in procedure outside rather than indoor if possible, but if you need to do it indoor, have fryer sitting under stove exhaust fan or near an open window as a minimum. and make sure stove exhaust fan in running at full speed. even after 90 minutes, there was still a slight plastic smell, but not much.This fryer did a great job on frozen onion rings, they were crispy outside and moist inside, I did boneless skinless chicken beasts and they came out perfect, but remember if your using this fryer for the first time over other fryers you’ve used, you must keep an eye till you develop better knowledge of the fryer, the great thing is there is a window that you can see your things cooking, if your new to air frying and this is your first air fryer, your going to go through trial and error, just keep an eye and you will be ok.Washing the basket is pretty straight forward, dishwashing liquid and hot water, the insert at the bottom of the pan is held in by friction using silicone tabs on the corners, the insert wont fall out when turning basket over, Im not sure how well silicone tabs will hold insert over time.

Wow!This Tfal air fryer is better than expected.We love the speed of cooking; no preheating needed.The window in the front let’s you keep an eye on your cooking without having to open it keeping the heat consistent throughout the cook.This air fryer is easy to use and clean. I purchased liners for messy jobs but don’t use them all the time because it is so easy to clean.The highest temp is 450 degrees Fahrenheit but if you use the crispy finish button, it adds 2 minutes to the cooking time. The crispy finish option allows the unit to increase the temp to 750 for the last two min of cooking.The one con and the reason why it’s not a 5 star product is the fact that all the buttons do not light up and are hard to see. We keep a small flashlight near by to help.Rosted a whole chicken without any problems. Also makes a full breakfast for one in a pinch.I recommend this unit for it’s versatility, easy of use and cleaning, size and speed.

I’ve only had this air fryer a couple of days, but have cooked so many things in it already. It has a lot of different cooking functions that are very useful, My favorite – so far – is the crisp feature. It cooks fast and the basket cleans easily just wiping it out with wet paper towel. My only negative issues are the bell – it could be a bit louder and the basket itself is a little heavy for my wrist ( so I use both hands ). Overall, it’s a great air fryer!
