Installation took some concentration — totally worth it
This keyless entry pad has been a great upgrade for our garage door. It looks sleek once installed, supports tons of custom keypad combinations, and auto-locks after a set amount of time — which gives me a lot of peace of mind. It also fit right into our existing door handle hole, which made the setup much easier overall.The only challenging part was the installation process. It’s not hard, but you do need to line up the wiring/battery connection between both sides of the door, which takes a little juggling. Once that part is done, though, everything goes together smoothly. I really like that all the screws and hardware end up on the inside of the door, so nobody can tamper with it from the outside — smart design choice.We’ve been using it for a while now with zero issues, and the convenience alone has made it worth it.

Do you hate having to keep track of keys or carry a keyring with multiple keys? This is a great solution! A couple of years ago, I bought one to try and have now replaced all of the locks on my home with these battery operated push-button, combination locks. They’re available in a variety of finishes, look solid, well-made of durable materials, and easy to install. Plus there are a bunch of options for multiple codes for different users and you can add and delete codes easily as you need to. Being battery powered, there’s never a problem getting in, even if there’s a power outage. Like the batteries in a smoke detector, I replace the batteries every six months so I never have to worry about being locked out.

I’ve been using the TEEHO TE003 Keyless Entry Door Lock for some time now, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. However, there’s an important aspect to consider when installing and maintaining this lock: installation and alignment are absolutely critical to its proper function.During installation, I found that careful alignment of the lock components was key. Even being slightly off can cause issues with the locking mechanism engaging smoothly. It took a few attempts and some fine-tuning to get everything lined up correctly. Don’t rush the process, and be prepared to make small adjustments as needed.Additionally, over time, environmental factors like foundation settling or door frame swelling (due to temperature or humidity changes) may require readjustments. I’ve had to tweak the alignment a couple of times, but that’s to be expected with any lock in similar conditions. As long as you keep this in mind, the lock works well and offers great convenience.Other than the alignment considerations, I’ve been very happy with this product. The keyless entry is a game changer for convenience, and the lock feels sturdy and secure. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable keyless door lock, just with the caveat that proper installation and occasional maintenance are essential for long-term satisfaction.

The unit was installed to replace another doorknob for basic security on a storage room in my home. Its pretty much a one for one swap with the only difference being the plate between the lock and inner knob. The striker mechanism is rough and lacks refinement making the handle noisy, but its also not top shelf quality. My only disappointment was the inner back housing (plastic) had the finish scored and damaged right out of the box. Its purely cosmetic, however…. even at the price, it should have been pristine. I could have returned it, but the time and energy followed with waiting for another to get here would be a pain.
