This scanner reads screen codes fast no matter how brightness or darkness your customer’s screen is.
Extended read range
Based on a 1 Mpx global shutter sensor, it can read Code 39 5 mils at 0,6 m [23.6 in] distance and provides an increased read range by 40% compared to its predecessor.
Read moving barcodes
With notable maximum motion tolerance of 6 m/s [236 in/s], it can read moving barcodes, enabling increased scanning speed and productivity.

Wake and Sleep Feature
If there is no barcodes in front in 3 seconds, the scanner will go dim without disturbing customers or cashiers.
To wake the scanner up, move an object in front of its window or press the button atop the unit.
USB HID Mode-Default mode
This scanner is with RJ45 to usb interface, works as HID device which makes the scanner appear as a keyboard to your PC. This is the default mode.
This allows you to scan barcodes into applications such as notepad, excel, word. When you scan a barcode in this mode, the decoded data from the scanner gets inserted at your insertion point as if you typed the data using your keyboard.
USB Virtual COM Mode
This mode can be used for the software developers.
Download and install the virtual com driverScan the “Virtual COM Port” barcodeCheck the success of installation of virtual serial port by starting from the left-down corner of Windows OS “Start-Settings-Control Panel-System-Hardware-Device Manager, find out the COM number of the scanner is plugged intoUsing serial port debug software, e.g. AccessPort, to test data transmission of USB virtual COM. The none-ASCII code can be decoded under this mode.

The best scanners I have found! Worth every penny!
I have purchased dozens of scanners to determine the best product for a project I am building for our customers and determined that the TEEMI scanners work the best out all of them.Some of the most important features which the TEEMI scanners offer are:* Reads any barcode from a mobile device screen fast!* Able to configure as a VCP (Virtual Com Port) meaning you can connect to the scanner via a com port with your application instead of using it as a keyboard wedge.* Highly configurable where you can add to the beginning or end of the read data almost any data you need!* Most importantly (for me) it has the ability to read high density PDF417 barcodes like the types used on Drivers Licenses.* Powers itself from a simple USB connection!* The designs are nice, they don’t feel cheap or flimsy and appear to do well in a rugged environment.I also want to mention that the TEEMI Store support is fantastic! They very quickly supplied me with detailed programming codes for serial communications!Great products at a great price!

It work for the first 4 months and then started beeping.
It work well for the first 4 months. Now, every so often you ring a product and the machine just beep for 3 seconds straight. Shut it down couple of time and works again. Not wort it. Would not recommend. UPDATE!! The company was kind enough to send me a new unit, however this one only works for couple of days before starting doing the same thing. STAY AWAY

Bigger than I expected
I have been collecting various barcode scanners to try to find a workflow I could use at home, but this was bigger than I expected. It is the size and shape of the pyramidal scanners you see at the grocery store self-checkouts, which is not as conducive to home use.But it gave me an idea, and now I am making it into a toy for my daughter who has always loved playing with cash registers. I’m building her own little checkout station using a touch screen and this scanner, so she can practice scanning things around the house and see funny interactions on-screen. She’ll most likely need these skills in life more than she will a cash register!

I compared this with other barcode scanner which is about $160. I like this is better than expensive one because it has large scan area and very sensitive scanning. It has plug and play features, so no need to install other programs to run. Great value and highly recommended.

Enhanced Functionality
Teemi makes highly advanced scanners. This one is particularly good because it can read damaged bar codes or those printed on highly reflective paper. You can also adjust the sound to be optimal for different environments. It’s truly plug-and-play and easy to operate.
