Decent for the price. Would recommend to most.
I’m giving this 5 stars for the price. It really can’t be beat at this price. I got it on sale for about sixty bucks. Not bad! How is the sound quality? It’s “decent”. I see that word used in other reviews as well. It’s the word that comes to mind first. It’s not super awesome great. It won’t make you feel like you’re in a movie theater with bass rumbling around you and all the sounds in 3D around the room like a good Atmos sound system would do. No, that’s not what you’ll get. But what you do get is a very high volume sound that’s not flat. The mids and high ranges are better than its bass, but that would be obvious just looking at it from its size. The bass is just okay, maybe on the low side of what I would want. It does have an output for a subwoofer for extra bass if you wanted to get a subwoofer for it.Is this better than my TV’s built-in speaker? Yeah, definitely. No doubt about it. If you’re looking for something one step up from your TV’s built-in speakers, this is a good choice. This goes half-way towards building some big, expensive sound system for your living room, at sixty bucks. It’s a no brainer. In fact, I’d say if you’re thinking about getting a huge, expensive sound system for the living room, just buy this to try it out for a little while and see if it suffices. For how much you pay, it’s almost free compared with how much you have to spend for the equipment of a decent sound system. Now, for me, I’m using these primarily for my computer system on my desk. I like the vertical orientation of the separate speakers, and I place one on the right and one on the left side of my desk. It is spectacular overkill for that purpose, so I’m happy with it. Although, like I said, the bass could be better. No big deal. For the living room TV, I’ve also tried it. Most of what I’ve said above is for that purpose, not for the desktop with a computer. For the living room, it fills the room nicely. There’s no lack of volume on it. With volume dialed up to 100, it would be painful on the ears.I use bluetooth for both the living room and the desktop. No problems connecting, although I do think it would be better if bluetooth was always on by default, so I didn’t have to press the button to allow my TV or computer to connect to it each time.I’ve yet to try the app, but the app seems promising. It lets you choose from over 100 presets. With the 3 push-button presets (movie, game, and music), I don’t think you’ll need the cellphone app.In summary, this is quite good for the price. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with it for the price you’re paying. The volume is high enough that you won’t need more. And it’s definitely not the “flat” kind of sound you’ll get in some cheaper soundbars. But if you’re a real audiophile, it’s not going to be good enough for you, of course. And if you need big bass sound, no. Look elsewhere, or get yourself a decent subwoofer to add to it. It has adequate bass for most people. For the majority of people, this is good enough. Go get it. Worst case, you’re out sixty bucks. Not bad.

    Best speaker value
For several years, Creative has been a speaker company I’ve turned to, reigniting loyalty to a company from which I had bought SoundBlaster computer sound cards 20 years earlier. But when my Creative Pebble X Plus speakers were damaged (possibly via clawing from my kitty, Darling Daisy) after less than a year, I went looking for another company.I kept seeing Ultimea on Amazon, and this company produces all kinds of innovative soundbars. I picked up this one, liking the dual 2.2 and detachable-speaker design, and—wow!—this marks the greatest value of any speaker I’ve ever bought! The sound is spectacular, with sparkle, clarity and enough bouncy bass to satisfy. Those expecting low 20 kHz rumble should read the product specifications and set expectations properly. The sound is loud, too.The remote control is world-class, and there’s an app for even more customization.Ultimea provides all kinds of inputs and includes numerous cables to accommodate different setups. Very impressive! Compare all the inputs in this model with most Vizio soundbars, for example, costing $100 to $200, and you will see that Ultimea crushes Vizio. Vizio cannot even be bothered to include auxiliary inputs in most of its soundbars anymore. Some people still want wired connections, so thank you, Ultimea! The Bluetooth version is actually 5.3, according to the company’s website (must be an error on Amazon sales page), and I see no lag when watching video.I got all this kit for just $59.99 on sale—even full price is an excellent value. I liked what I got so much I bought four more on Prime Day for $53.99 each for use in different areas of my home. With metal grates over the speakers (unlike Creative’s easy-to-puncture foam speakers), these Ultimea speakers should last many years to come. Those Creative speakers, by the way, cost me twice as much.Ultimea is now my go-to company for speakers. (Design tip for the company not affecting this model: With some of your otherwise spendidly designed soundbars, the center channel is not directly in the middle but rather off to one side of a split-in-half soundbar. This creates imbalance when listening. Solution: Add a small center speaker that connects to detachable left and right speakers to fix this design flaw marring several of your speakers.)Extraordinary value!

I already have a couple of Ultimea soundbars jotted around the house and know as a brand they do deliver with quality sound at a reasonable price.I’ve been very happy with the overall sound quality produced from this and have been using it now for one month. I like to check no issues arise when it comes to electronics and can report that this is still going strong. What’s actually suprised me the most is how crisp and clear vocals and instruments come through, they’re really good and when listening to music the EQ seems to be spot on for where they should be.TV wise there’s a good balance whether watching a show or even action series/films, it adds an extra level to absorb you into the content.I was worried that the lack of an external subwoofer would impact the quality too much but in actual fact it’s fairly decent. You can up the bass on the soundbar itself and it remains clear with vocals, others would struggle here and you’d get distortion but I can report everything remains clear.I already have a separate MK subwoofer and when linked the audio from this is brilliant, the subwoofer needs to be active and have it’s own power supply but you can use any with an RCA cable.I like the sleek look of the overall design and opted to connect as one long bar, you can have each speaker separate and stood with the included stands but I preferred to have it flat.Another good thing is the lighting in the corner goes off when playing music or watching TV. There’s no distraction annoying you, simply press the remote and it will illuminate while you change EQ or volume and then it goes off.In the box you get everything you need, it’s super easy to set up and I like the fact they’ve added two wall mount brackets.

I’ve never seen a soundbar that can be used as one unit, or split into 2 singular units, so I was interested to see how this works. In the box, they arrive as separate units, with plenty of different cables, and stands for each speaker.I decided to connect them together; you twist them together and they connect easily and do look like a single sound bar.I connected them via optical cable (included). You need to ensure the cable is correctly connected, otherwise you get no sound or a lot of crackle. However, once set up correctly, there are no issues. You use the remote to change the input setting. A nice remote, but you will need 2 AAA batteries. Really clear and simple remote to use – you won’t need an instruction manual for this. The sound quality is good, but nothing groundbreaking. This is unsurprising for the cost, but it does allow you to increase the volume by quite a lot, without good clarity. There are 3 preset EQ buttons which you can use accordingly.I tried Bluetooth to play music, which is easy to connect to, and doesn’t need your tv to be on. You can adjust volume through both the remote and your phone.I split the speaker into two. You need to connect both speakers together using a cable (included) that is 1m in length. No issues here, but you need to attach each speaker to their respective stands, which are also included. For the price, you get a really good quality product that also looks very smart. These speakers are definitely not as good as more expensive speakers, but they are still very good and versatile. You get everything you need in the box, and an instruction booklet that is easy to use for even the least tech savvy user.I can’t really fault this, super product!
