Perfect!! I have been looking at replacing my front door long for sometime and came across this one. So glad I bought it. Very easy to install and set up, codes for everybody, notifications, auto lock and finger print, nothing else you could ask for.I did have an issue with the finger print but contacted customer service and NICOLE took care of everything and provide excellent customer service and resolved my issue, she also check back to make sure all was working good.I highly rec this product, you won’t be disappointed!!! BUY IT ☺️

Good deadbolt, but uses 8 AA’s
*** Update 10/13/2025 ***I received a message from the seller of this item asking how they could resolve my issues with this item. As I was responding to them I determined that I had made a huge error. I wrongly stated and/or implied that this seller had taken model VE012W of this item and added a “-L” to it and also added close to $100 to the price. This was WRONG on my part. I messed up and opened up the wrong item while reviewing this item. Make No mistake, this was my error and because of this it may have affected this sellers reputation. Would I order this again? Maybe, but I still don’t like having to use eight AA batteries!*** End of Update ***This is one of those types reviews I really struggle with. Please, let me explain. This smart deadbolt is made well, is appealing in the looks department, is feature rich with wifi, Fingerprint, keys and a keypad to open the door and appears to be quite durable. So why am I struggling with this? Well, a couple of things. First, why in the world did the engineers who designed this think it was okay have it run off of Eight AA batteries? Then as I was looking at the description more closely the model number. VE012W-L, I did a search for this model number and only got this item back from the search. However, if you drop the “-L” in the search there are several sellers that have what appears to be the same unit. I’ve been through the descriptions of both models and I really didn’t see any major differences.Could this be an anniversary or some other special edition? Maybe, but there isn’t any type of marking on the deadbolt stating such, that I could find. There was one really big difference though, price. At this price point (~$170) I believe this to be a terrible value. A quick search of this model number (less the -L) shows this model selling for between ~$55 – $65.Would I order this again? No, not at this price and using this many batteries!Hope this helps!
