Just DON’T! It doesn’t work for the 2nd Gen Cube 🤦
This is an update to my previous review of this remote. I ordered two different remotes and somehow I got them mixed up and when I was getting ready to send them back I was checking everything and I realized that this one had not even been opened. I immediately began the process of trying to get this remote to work with my fire Cube which is a second generation. I follow. The directions had absolutely no problems. It works perfectly. I highly recommend this remote. I’ve gone through quite a few of them and I finally found one that didn’t break the bank and that works great. I don’t know about all the other items but it definitely works with my second generation fire Cube. I can’t believe how easy this was to set up either. So that’s my update. I apologize to the seller for my stupidity LOL and again I highly recommend this.

Seemed like a good product.
Couldn’t use it. Turns out fire stick itself wasn’t working at all. This remote however felt like a good replacement if you ever break yours. No complaints on the quality and material. Wish I could rate the connection process but not this product fault.

Doesn’t work
When I pulled this up, Amazon knowing what FireStick I have, said this was compatible. Either a: I received a faulty remote or, b: it’s not compatible. I’m able to connect the remote to the FireStick. The home button and dial buttons work, but not the power button or the volume buttons. I’ve tried changing the equipment (TV) but that didn’t resolve the issue. Watched about every video out there on how to fix the problem and none worked. Will be returning this item.

Great replacement but use ur firetv app to pair
I was about to return and give 1 star but figured out to use the firetv app on my phone to pair it. Works great. Dog chewed our original so was impossible to use the stick but used the app on my phone.
