What kind of Ethernet cable should I use?
For best results, use outdoor-rated Cat5e or Cat6 cables with standard RJ-45 connectors. Cable is not included in the package.
Is it really waterproof? Can I mount it outdoors?
Yes. The device is IP66 waterproof-rated, and comes with rugged sealing glands to protect your RJ-45 ports from moisture and dust. Ideal for outdoor installs.
How many PoE boosters can be daisy-chained?
You can daisy-chain up to 4 PoE boosters in total. Each unit adds 100 meters of reach, allowing you to extend power and data up to 500 meters from your PoE switch.
Which PoE switch standards are supported?
The booster is compatible with IEEE 802.3af, at, and bt standards. It accepts up to 90W input and works with PoE, PoE+, and high-power PoE++ switches and injectors.

Excellent Extender
I live in a very hot, very rainy area, and this outdoor extender has survived all summer just fine. They only thing it hasn’t had thrown at it (yet) is a hurricane. No drying out casing, no water damage, no sudden power failure. It is working just as well now as it did when I installed it.Performance wise, I didn’t need it for a huge distance, so I cannot speak to what the maximum range is. I can say set up was extremely easy, and it has strong speed and fast signal, which is great.

Robust for outdoor use
With up to 60W input and 30W output per port, this is a very useful waterproof PoE splitter that seems like it will hold up a lot better than some of my other outdoor splitters.

This is one nice outdoor weatherproof PoE extender in my opinion! It is well made and high quality throughout, and it was very straightforward to install. The functionality has been great to date with fast network speed and consistent power to the device. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and therefore highly recommend it with five stars all the way!

Excellent quality product, well made and very durable. Works well. Exactly what I needed on the farm, 5 acres of outbuildings and barns makes Wi-Fi difficult, we use extenders and various types of Wi-Fi assisted devices.
